Implemented and Managed Lean Manufacturing principles including 5'S, TPM,
OEE, Waste Minimisation, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen
Served as a member of the Kingspan Insulation - Lean Steering Committee.
Drove ROS from breakeven to >20% over an 8 year period.
Designed, developed and implemented a £1.2M continuous production facility to
meet the requirements of the UK construction Industry (3 Day to site) the project was
delivered on-time, on-budget and with an audited paybackof <18months.
Led the site in achieving the Queens Award for Industry in 2009 in the category of

Responsible for submitting, gaining approval for and delivering annual capex and
projects plans including site relocation c£3m
Relocated the company into a modern, purpose built facility and disposed of the
original land and buildings. The proceeds from the sale (£3M) covered the purchase and
development costs of the new facility
Implemented and maintained ISO 14000 and BS OHSAS 18001 to compliment ISO
