 CubeXS Weatherly has designed and built a hardened, Class “A+”, first ever Tier-IV compliant
Data Center in Pakistan.
 The Datacenter was primarily constructed upon a viable business case for providing datacenter
related services to a Fortune 500 telecommunication company. The facility was built on
standards and specifications approved by this anchor client.
 Since its inception in 1997 many large local and global clients have put their trust in CubeXS

 Tier I Data Center Infrastructure
Basic Data Center is susceptible to disruption from both planned and unplanned activity.
 Tier II Data Center Infrastructure
With redundant components, less susceptible to disruptions from both planned and unplanned activity.
Has a Single-Wired distribution path. Maintenance of the critical power path and other parts of the site
infrastructure will require a processing shutdown.
 Tier III Data Center Infrastructure
Concurrently Maintainable
Tier III level capability allows for any Planned site infrastructure activity without disrupting the
computer hardware operation. Unplanned activities such as errors in operation or spontaneous failures
of facility infrastructure components will still cause a data center disruption.
 Tier IV Data Center Infrastructure
Fault Tolerant
Tier IV provides site infrastructure capacity and capability to permit any planned activity without
disruption. Fault-tolerant functionality also provides the ability of the site infrastructure to sustain at

Power Distribution
Power distribution is controlled through Main Distribution Box and redundant Power
Distribution Units.

Backup Power
Power to racks and cabinets is conditioned and redundantly supplied via UPS
subsystems and Static Transfer Switches.

Backup Generators – two redundant
Dual and fully redundant 1Megawatt, diesel generators are deployed to provide non-stop
power for mission-critical applications in case of main power failure.
With 16,000 gallons of onsite fuel storage and contracts for continuous refilling, our
nonstop Data Center can run indefinitely due to 2N+1 architecture implementation in all
key areas

Environmental Control
CubeXS Weatherly is equipped with redundant Sabro HVACs and humidity
control systems. These are coupled with raised-flooring for optimum airflow
distribution and management. The defined parameters for temperature and
humidity are monitored and maintained round the clock.

Fire Detection & Suppression
The following systems are deployed to provide protection from both fire and
the collateral damage caused by use of conventional fire suppression systems:
• Fire Master (FM-200) gas-based fire suppression
• Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm (VESDA) systems

Security Control
• Placement of armed guards at all external and internal entrances.
• 3-level access control through proximity card for server area.
• 24/7 CCTV monitoring, data avaialble for 30 days.
• All walls of the Data Center are of reinforced barrier design with no windows.
• Man-trap doors at both front and rear entrances of the Data Center.
• Entry into data center only with an accompanied escort
• Restricted access for visitors to office area through identification check and
entry at front desk.
