Law Updates:
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs will launch new MCA21 portal
for Company users on Sunday, 27th March 2016. To facilitate
implementation of the new portal, the MCA21 portal will be
unavailable from 0000 Hours of Friday, 25th March, 2016 until 12
Noon of Sunday, 27th March 2016.
The Company e-Forms have been revised on MCA portal effective
27th March 2016. Stakeholders are advised to download the latest
version of forms from ‘Company Forms Download’ page on the
MCA portal. The previous version of Company e-forms will not be
compatible with the new MCA21 portal. The existing Company
Forms have been revised.
After passing of winding up order but before company is actually
wound up, Official Liquidator requires and uses licensed premises
for beneficial winding up, licence fees payable during period of
such beneficial use must rank as liquidation expenses and be
accorded top priority, i.e., even over priority claims under sections
529, 529A and 530: Bombay High Court.

Companies (Incorporation) Second Amendment Rules, 2016
amending Form No. INC 11.

March, 2016 has notified second
phase of CRC. Now CRC will process forms pertaining to
registration of the companies and the Registrar of Companies
under whose jurisdiction registered office is situated shall continue
to exercise its power for the companies incorporated by the
Registrar, CRC.

Lisa Su
CEO and President of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Lisa Su is the CEO and President of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). She was
appointed president and CEO in October 2014. She had previously been a senior
vice president, corporate director, and chief operating officer at AMD.
Before joining AMD, Su worked at Texas Instruments, IBM, and Freescale
Semiconductor in engineering and management positions.
Early life and Education
Su was born in Tainan, Taiwan and immigrated to the United States with her
parents at the age of 3.
She has bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT).
Career
In 1994 Su was a member of the technical staff at Texas Instruments, in its Semiconductor Process and Device
Center (SPDC).
She spent 1995 to 2007 at IBM in engineering and business management positions, including vice president of
the Semiconductor Research and Development Center responsible for the strategic direction of IBM’s silicon
technologies, joint development alliances, and semiconductor R&D operations.
Su joined Freescale Semiconductor in 2007 as chief technology officer, and she led the company’s technology
roadmap and research and development efforts. From September 2008 she was the senior vice president and
general manager of Freescale's Networking and Multimedia group, and was responsible for global strategy,
marketing, and engineering for the company’s embedded communications and applications processor business.
Su became senior vice president and corporate director at AMD in January 2012, and chief operating officer in
June 2014. She was appointed president and CEO of AMD in October 2014, replacing Rory Read.
Advanced Micro Devices
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is an American worldwide semiconductor company based in Sunnyvale,
California, United States, that develops computer processors and related technologies for business and
consumer markets. While initially it manufactured its own processors, the company became fabless after Global
Foundries was spun off in 2009. AMD's main products include microprocessors, motherboard chipsets,
embedded processors and graphics processors for servers, workstations and personal computers, and embedded
systems applications.
AMD is the second-largest supplier and only significant rival to Intel in the market for x86-based
microprocessors. Since acquiring ATI in 2006, AMD and its competitor Nvidia have dominated the discrete
graphics processor unit (GPU) market
Awards and recognitions
Su was selected as one of the "Top 100 Young Innovators" in 2002 by MIT Technology Review.
In 2009, Su was named a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), having
published more than 40 technical articles.
Su was named "2014 Executive of the Year" at the EE Times and EDN 2014 ACE Awards.
