1. A photography project
3ème 4 avec Mme LAURENT, Paulina and
Morgane, working for an association called
Télénomade.
2. The 3ème4 pupils have been chosen for a photography project. We carried it out with Paulina and Morgane,
working for an association called Télénomade. They came four times for two hours. During the project we
discovered six English or American photographers and the characteristics of their work. Moreover we
worked on the technical aspects of photography and practised to experiment them.
The first time they came, they showed us a lot of mixed pics and we had to identify common features and
regroup them by photographers. Then we had to explain our choice and determine the style. Finally we
individually chose which photographer we would like to specialize in.
During the second session, we stayed in groups. Paulina and Morgane prepared six workshops : abstract
picture, close-up, full portrait, back light, landscape photography, photographing with a flash. One group
after the other, we all took part in them. We took pictures in the classroom and in the corridor.
The third time, we analysed the pictures we had taken the session before. And then our challenge was to
take pictures having the same style as the photographer we had previously chosen. So we went a bit
further! We wandered in town and we dared to explain our project to people who accepted to contribute
to it.
Last but not least! Again we watched our previous work. This is always a rather exciting moment! And to
finish, we chose one picture of our photographer and we had to reproduce it as well as possible… which
was funny!
The project
