It is a certified organic product, which can address all the needs of the farmers. The product enables the farmers to get higher yields and better quality at reduced costs. At the same time the natural resources are conserved at all times, thereby bringing in sustainability.
4. PROBLEMS OF ANIMAL
HUSBANDRY
• High Cost of production.
• High risk owing to disease
incidence.
• Low quality.
• High MRL levels leading to
losses in exports.
• Steady destruction of
environment.
5. The mother provides necessary environment for a child to
grow. We ensure the mother is in peak of health at all times.
Do we do the same for all mothers??
Water Cow ismother for all aquatic life
The isis the the mother all plants
Soil the mother for for the calf
We do not nourish it. Instead lace it with chemicals!

smallest unit of life -
Micro-organisms
9. What is ‘NatureVel - AQ’?
• Formulated by BIOSA, Denmark
• A Consortium of 10 microbes like Lactic Acid
bacteria, Photosynthetic bacteria and yeast
(plate count > 25 million)
• Mixture of carefully selected herbal
extracts.
• Produced indigenously at our factory at
Dehradun.
• Mutually compatible with each other and co-
exist in liquid culture below a pH of 3.5.
• All microbes are facultative. They exhibit
both aerobic and anaerobic characteristics.
• They work in a wide range of temperatures,
salinity and pH values.
• Products are certified as an Organic input by
ECOCERT and are now being used in over 40
Countries worldwide.
• The microorganisms are not Genetically
engineered or exotic.
10. Benefits
1. Cleans the water by reducing BOD, COD, TSS &
TDS and increases the DO levels.
2. Helps to stabilize pH of water.
3. Reduces running cost by reducing the need for
aeration and sludge removal costs.
4. Suppresses the population of harmful microbes or
vibrios through competitive exclusion.
5. Improves the FCR or the digestive system in fish
and prawns.
6. Reduces mortality in both fish and prawns by
controlling White spot, yellow head syndrome etc
diseases through enhanced immunity.
7. Creates better molting in prawns.
8. Improves quality of fish and prawns – higher rate
for the farmers.
11. Uniqueness
1. Only product to have 10 microbes.
2. Only product having both microbes
and herbs.
3. Only product to have a plate count
of > 20 million cfu.
4. Only product to have a shelf life of >
12 months.
5. Ease of use – simply dissolve with
water and molasses overnight and
apply.
12. Application
• Mix 1.5 liters of NatureVel
– AQ with 2 Kgs of jaggery,
molasses or sugar and 20
liters of clean fresh water in
a Jerry Can. (As per
graphic)
• Keep for 12 hours and use by 8 AM next morning.
• Repeat every 15-20 days.
• Check the pH regularly. If the pH is below or above the
range of 6.5 to 7.5, then increase the dosage to 2 liters.
• Reduce the dosage once pH stabilizes.
• Feed: Spray up to 3% of volume overnight.
14. Precautions
• Do not use with any biocides: They
would kill the live microbes. Give a gap
of 15 days.
• Store in ambient temperature.
• Re-tighten cap after use.
20. Mechanism (Microbes)
Lactic Acid Microbes: Creates a barrier to keep harmful microbes away
Yeast: The Bioactive Substances such as Hormones and Enzymes produced
by Yeasts. Promote Active Cell and Root Division
Phototrophic Microbes: Photosynthetic bacteria break down harmful
substances from secretion of roots into useful substances for plant growth.
The metabolites developed are absorbed directly by plants and act as
substrates for increasing beneficial population of microbes.
21. Mechanism (herbs)
Aloevera: It is rich in Vitamins such as A,B1,B2,B6,B12,C and E, Choline and Folic acid. The
anthraquinone or phenolic compounds have antimicrobial properties thus prevents plants from
diseases. It acts a suitable substrate for the growth of beneficial microorganisms present in ‘Happy
Garden’.
Raw Banana:- It has an enzyme amylase that breaks down starch into sugar, thus helps in providing
faster rate of growth to beneficial microbes also act as a substrate. It is a rich source vitamins,
manganese and potassium thus provides essential minerals to soil.
Soyabean:- The oligosaccharides present in it encourages the growth of Bifidobacterium and
Lactobacillus against putrefactive bacteria. It has isoflavones, genistein which acts as an oxidant
(stimulating nitrate synthesis). Glyceollins of pherocarpans family have an antifungal activity against
various Aspergillus species.
Wheat Bran:- Rich in protein, thiamin, riboflavin and potassium required for the growth of beneficial
microorganisms. Excellent source of minerals Fe, Mg, P, Zn, Cu, Mn and Se required to increase the
fertility of soil.
Barley:- It contains 8 essential amino acids which promotes the growth of beneficial microorganisms.
It is a rich source of digestible sugar.
22. Mechanism (herbs)
Garlic:- It yields allicin an antibiotic and antifungal compound (phytoncide). It has antimicrobial
effects, inhibits aflatoxin. Its compounds have evolved as a defensive mechanism, deterring animals
such as birds, insects and worms from eating plants.
Capsicum:- High in nutritive value, rich in carotenoides, proteins which supports the growth of
microorganisms. It shows antioxidant properties.
Onion:- It is antioxidant in nature. It has several phytochemicals known as disulfides which have
antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Tomato:- It is a rich substrate for the growth of beneficial microbes. it has antioxidant properties.
Cabbage:- Source of vitamin C, and essential amino acids. It has indole-3-carbinol which boosts DNA
repair in microbial cells.
24. Method of operation
• Product mode:
• Provide trained manpower free of cost.
• Training to farmers once a month.
