2.  Articles are words that combine to a noun
to define a noun as specific or unspecific.
 Basically, articles are of two types:
i. IndefiniteArticles
ii.DefiniteArticles

4. INDEFINITE ARTICLE
A/AN
 They refer to something not specifically
known to the person you are
communicating with.
They are used before nouns that introduce
something or someone you have not
mentioned before:

 I saw an elephant this morning.
 He is an English teacher.
 I saw a movie.

A is used before a word beginning with a
consonant sound.
e.g.Aboy,Ayard,Ahole,Ahorse.
An is used before a word beginning with a
vowel sound.
e.g.An enemy,An umbrella,An hour.

8. DEFINITE ARTICLES
The definite article “THE” is used when
we talk about a particular person or thing.
There are two ways to pronounce "the".
One "thuh" and the other "thee".

10. ZERO ARTICLE
• When no article is needed.
• When making sentence with uncountable
plural noun.
