The Cavite State University (CvSU) started as
an intermediate school in 1906. It became Don
Severino Agricultural College (DSAC) in 1964.
Ultimately, the college was converted into a
state university on January 22, 1998 by virtue
of RA 8468. At present, CvSU has 10
campuses, with the main campus (Don
Severino de las Alas Campus) located in
Indang, Cavite. It is the Center of Development
for Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. CvSU
is noted for coffee and dragonfruit. Indang is a
peaceful and quiet community, about 15 to 20
minutes from Tagaytay City which is known for
its scenic spots.
