KOTON is the leading fashion apparel retailer in Turkey with over
280 stores and 230,000 sqm retail space, offering high fashion
content and a local touch in women, men, kids and accessories
collections. Koton was founded in 1988 by Yılmaz Yılmaz and
Gülden Yılmaz with its first store in İstanbul. Koton also operates
over 160 stores in 25 countries, as part of its ambition to become a
global brand. The company employes more than 9600 people.

architectural design and decoration

Store Standards:
Locating in the textile retail sales
floorof the shopping malls and/oron
the main streets,
on the arteries where the shopping
traffic is dense and being approved
by
KOTON
Having at least 1500 square meter
or more gross-area and having a
warehouse which
can provide an appropriate
management forthis area.
Having at least 30 meters of facade.
Having at least 3 meters of ceiling
height.
Being convenient to the corporate
identity and retailing operations of
KOTON

The required specifications of the person or
corporates requesting Franchise:
Being experienced on the subject of
retailing and retailing textile product sales.
Having a substructure for being able to
provide continuity and establish the
corporate staff.
Having strong financial structure.
Investment Cost:
Approximate decoration costs for Turkey is
620$/m2.
Approximate decoration costs for foreign
countries is 800$/m2.
The retailing equipment determined in
accordance with the square meter of the
store
(hangers, mannequins, information
processing system and etc.) are not
included within t
he above mentioned amount.
Participation Fee:
The stock volume of the store is
determined in accordance with the product
cycle speed, size of the investment and
the special conditions of the location.
Bank Guarantee lettershould be given by
investors.
Commercial conditions which is mentioned
above, vary from country to country.

All the required support related to the following issues will be provided at the investment phase: Time and Cost Feasibilities All the required educations for operating the store Know-How about the brand, substructure and system establishment to the KOTON entrepreneur Planning and applying of the architectural design and decoration Personal recruitment Store Standards: Locating in the textile retail sales floorof the shopping malls and/oron the main streets, on the arteries where the shopping traffic is dense and being approved by KOTON Having at least 1500 square meter or more gross-area and having a warehouse which can provide an appropriate management forthis area. Having at least 30 meters of facade. Having at least 3 meters of ceiling height. Being convenient to the corporate identity and retailing operations of KOTON FRANCHİSİNG
  • 10. FRANCHİSİNG The required specifications of the person or corporates requesting Franchise: Being experienced on the subject of retailing and retailing textile product sales. Having a substructure for being able to provide continuity and establish the corporate staff. Having strong financial structure. Investment Cost: Approximate decoration costs for Turkey is 620$/m2. Approximate decoration costs for foreign countries is 800$/m2. The retailing equipment determined in accordance with the square meter of the store (hangers, mannequins, information processing system and etc.) are not included within t he above mentioned amount. Participation Fee: The stock volume of the store is determined in accordance with the product cycle speed, size of the investment and the special conditions of the location.
