The document summarizes a 12-year-old Romanian girl's diary entries about her experience participating in an Erasmus coding and robotics project in Celje, Slovenia from May 24-28, 2017. She attended workshops on programming robots and games, visited local landmarks like castles and caves, and engaged in social and cultural activities with students from other countries. While sad to leave, she felt it was an unforgettable opportunity to learn and make international friends.

• Dear Diary,
Today has been the first day of activities in
Celje,Slovenia. The welcome festivity was extremely
interesting, because the students from the 5 countries
involved in the Project prepared a short introduction
of themselves in English, then showed the most
beautiful images and videos from their countries, said a
few words about their schools and sang their national
anthems. In addition to this, the Romanian team
presented some Romanian traditional dances and it was
a special moment for me, because I sang two songs in
English: “This is a man’s world” and “Rise like a Phoenix”
and I played “Love story” on the piano. The Romanian
team was congratulated on their presentation. Then, we

6. The Humanoid Robot Nao
Today I have met the spectacular Nao, a programmed
robot, which uses a processor and video cameras that
permit him to recognize faces and objects much faster. I
found out that it is equipped with a remote sensor, infrared
receivers and transmitters, tactile and pressure sensors. I
also learned that Nao has microphones and a voice
recognition program that makes it easier to identify your
keywords. I myself asked it a few questions, to which he
answered in a little shy way, at the beginning, We taught it
to make some moves and sing "Happy Birthday!" in the
language of each country represented in the project. It was
a funny moment when I saw him dancing or doing karate!

• Dear Diary,
The second day of activities in Celje has just finished.
This morning,I woke up very energetic and eager to start a
new work day at MCC Hostel. There were two activities I
attended:
- Microcontroller Arduino –> lighting the LEDs of a
machine, using a computer programme. I must admit this
activity seemed a little difficult to me and my teammate,
Andra, Throughout the activity, we needed further
instructions from the teacher, in order to avoid the
errors. In the end we were happy to have the mission
accomplished.
- The Chemistry Lab–> developing algorithmic thinking
through chemical experiments: we learned to make
icecream and soap. It was an extremely pleasant, relaxing
and funny activity. I can’t help mentioning that this
activity was also pleasant for my Mum, because she was

• Dear Diary,
I had another day of interesting
educational activities.On the first part
of the day, I attended the last two
workshops performed at MCC Hostel:
- The Lego Robots– programming them
to move forward and backward
- Coding through games, without using a
computer
On the latter part of the day, we visited
an extremely beautiful and fun place

• Dear Diary,
I’m sadder and sadder, because today
is the last but one day of the mobility in
Slovenia. It seems more and more
difficult for me to get used to the idea
of leaving the place where I felt
wonderful, where I learned so many
things and where I met special people.
today has been a very busy day, as it
involved a long but worthy trip. We
visited wonderful places and we had the

• Dear Diary,
Today has been the last day spent in Slovenia.
We attended the Certificate Awarding Festivity,
during which I tried to deliver a Good bye and
Thank you speech, which unfortunately failed,
because I burst out crying. I couldn’t stop my
tears which were the expression of the regret
that such a beautiful experience had to come to
an end. After we took some pictures, I sang
“Valerie” and “Mon mec a moi” and together with
my schoolmates we performed Cup Song.
It has been a tremendous opportunity for me
to discover a part of Europe, which has been
unknown to me up to now, to meet teachers and
students from many countries, to develop my
Info and Coding skills, to practice speaking in
