INSOMNIA
Insomnia is really tough especially when it is a result of anxiety
or depression, and we use this term especially because the
person that experiences this problem has to face and solve one
or much more problems than the insomnia.
We live in a fast paced ordinary life. Human beings have been
transformed into machines that do things all day long and
sometimes the length of the day is not enough even to sleep and
relax for someone who is working all day. Everybody have seen
people eating in the underground or in the busses, particularly
in big cities. These are reasons that could create anxiety. On the
other hand, depression is produced when thinking about things
that we would like to achieve and we do not have the time to
make them real in our life.
100 Ways To
Face and Cure
  Insomnia
    Let’ s start!
1- Speed down your day
2- Make a list of things you have to do, this will
help you to relax
3- Think what you prefer to do most and plan it well
4- Do not let things for tomorrow while you stay
inactive in front of your TV
5- Don’t use your bed for eating food or other
activities except of sleep and sex
6- Take up jogging or any other physical workout
7- Set a time that you should go to bed and a time
that you should wake up
8- Have a bath before going to sleep in order to
relax
9- Read a book, but not newspapers
10- Do not take laptops, iPad with you to the bed
11- Use more the public transportation than you car
12- Stop your activities at a certain time every day
and do not go to sleep immediately after working
13- Listen to relaxing music, but a kind that you like
14- Be friendly with your colleagues
15- Be optimistic about your life
16- Create conditions in order to succeed
17- Realize as soon as possible that you cannot be a
billion $ Hollywood star from one day to the other
18- Discuss about your problem
19- Visit an expert doctor
20- Do not use meds, you will become a junkie
21- Take some days off of your work
22- Turn off your T.V
23- If you have a garden, work on it and make it your
own heaven that you forget all the problems in it
24- If you are in gap in your life you can always
volunteer for something you are really interested in
25- Do not take decisions that you already know, that
will make you feel depressed or anxious
26- For married people you should try to take your
wife or husband a hug as you sleep
27- Stop eating before going to bed
28- Do not drink coffees after 16:00
29- You can have a glass of milk before going to bed
30- Count sheep, even better black and then white
sheep!
31- Stop thinking about everything so much
32- Do not drink alcohol in order to go to bed you
will become an alcoholic and you will still have
insomnia
33- Redecorate your bedroom
34- Take out the TV from your bedroom
35- Use comfortable pillows and sheets
36- Do not use aromatics in your bedroom, except
they help you to relax
37- Think about the way that it makes you feel more
comfortable in your bedroom
38- Think about how the lights are affecting you, if
you need absolute darkness or a slight light open
39- Do not play video games
40- Do not watch horror movies or things that can
increase your anxiety or your depression
41- Make up your self in order to feel more cheerful
42- Use clothes that you really like
43- If you are trapped in any problem try to solve it
immediately
44- If you are trapped in a problematic relationship,
abandon it right away
45- Choose you friends carefully
46- Do your actions with thinking and planning
47- Have as many breaks as you can when you are
working
48- Do not worry about things that you have not
achieved yet, think how you are going to achieve them
49- Clean up your house in a regular basis
50- Open the windows in your house in order to let
fresh air to get in
51- Prefer healthy food, not junk
52- Do not spend more money than those you can
afford
