Locations for ‘Crook’
Detective’sOffice:
At thismomentintime one of the locationswe wantto use forour trailerisan office whichwill be
usedinsceneswhere the DetectiveisworkingonThe Gripwell Killer’scase andistryingto findout
differentpiecesof the puzzle.IdeallyDetective Foster’soffice wouldbe inasmall room which
resemblesanoffice thatwe maysee inotherCrime filmsthatfollowthe maincharacterof a
Detective.Intermsof whatwouldfeature inthe office,Ithinkitwouldbe a greatideaif we could
geta range of differentprops,forexampledifferentdocumentsandnewspaperclippingswould
make the office feel andlookmore realisticandnatural.Furthermore Ithinkthatwe couldalso
include awhiteboardwhere the Detectivemayhave photosof differentlocationsaswell asnoteson
The Gripwell Killer.Belowisapicture thatbestresembleswhatwe wantforthe Detective’soffice.
So as youcan fromthe picture above, the Detective’sdeskisamesswitha range of differentfiles
and documentsarrangedonthe desk.Inadditiontothis, behindthe Detectiveyoucansee a board
containingimportantphotosandinformation,aswell asaseriesof books.Personallythisiswhatwe
wantfrom our Detective’soffice, anunorganizedoffice toshow the busynessof the Detective.
Detective’sHome:
The secondlocationwe have managedtocome upwithis the Detective’shome. The planatthe
momentisto include the Detective’shome atthe start of the trailer;itwould alsoshow the
Detective discoveringhisfamilyaftertheyhave beenmurderedbyThe GripwellKiller. One ideawe
have for the Detective’shome istoinclude photosof the Detectiveandhisfamily,we mainlywant
the Detective’shome tolookashomelyandfamilylike aspossibletogetthe pointacrossto the
audience thatDetective Fosterisafamilyman. We are not sure as to what else we wantinthe
Detective’shomerightnow,howeverwe willdiscussthismore inthe future.
