2. Editing Software
• Premiere
The reason we are using Premier as our
editing software is because it is a
programme that I have used previously
in the past and so I would say that I am
somewhat aware of how to use it and
make use of its different capabilities. I
can use my developed skills to create an
effective teaser trailer that successfully
meets conventions and resembles a
convincing media product.
This software can easily import and
export files easily and renders
automatically, therefore eliminating any
chance of loss of footage.
We will also be able to edit our sound
effectively within the programme, adding
effects and changing volume levels
easily.
3. Inter-titles and Credits
• Photoshop
An important part of creating a teaser
trailer is thinking about the production
company idents and the inter-titles,
title and credits. We will be using
Photoshop specifically for the ident, as
conventionally production company
idents feature a main image as part of
their logo. Photoshop allows me to edit
and manipulate these photos and add
text to make my idents look convincing
and professional.
It will also allow me to create inter-
titles by creating text that I can change
and edit to link with the main themes
and narrative for our film.
