3. Script
Trailer begins with line “There’s nothing worse than
investigating a murder case.”
We have chosen this to be the voiceover dialogue as it
immediately sets the scene to show that there is some
form of crime involved in the trailer. It also introduces
the detective character to the audience as it is
immediately obvious that he is investigating a crime.
After this, the voiceover continues on and says “but it’s
even worse when it’s your own wife’s.”
This creates a twist for the story line as it surprises the
audience and may make them want to watch the film to
find out the cause of the murder and what has
previously happened.
4. Inter-titles
The main inter-title will be at the end of the trailer. This
will say the film name and the next title will be the
typical feature of a film trailer – “Coming soon”
Throughout the trailer, we will feature the actor’s names
as this can tell the audience who we have feature in the
film trailer.
