1. For this assignment I had to make two web quests. I had never made a web quest before, but I
really like the assignment. I had fun designing them both. I felt like I could use either of these in
a real classroom setting for smaller children. I plan on keeping them, and of course keeping
them updated. These could easily be used for any kind of activity, and what kid does not like
computer time. You could design a web quest of any lesson, and the kids would simply think
they were being rewarded. This assignment fell into the project-based learning pillar, but could
easily be adjusted to fit any of the six pillars. I would improve this assignement by making the
students be more specific. I would have them to cut out the second webquest, and only do one.
I would expand on this assignment by having the students put more thought and detail into only
one webquest. I think by condensing the assignment, but adding more criteria for the one,
students would be forced to learn a webquest in full detail. A webquest like that could be used
in a classroom, and not just for this assignment.
