1. This assignment was different. I had never had to do any assignment like this before. This
assignment was all about social media. I use facebook, but nothing else. I had to create a twitter
just for the assignment. I am not good with twitter either so I had to learn to use it as well. The
assignment was good though, becuase it forced me to broaden my horizons. I could use this in a
classroom by getting my kids to follow me and using it for homework assignments or lessons.
The pillar this would best fall under is globalization. It helps students to connect to thing or
cultures they normally couldn't. I would improve the assignment by making the students go
further into detail. I would cut out making them follow four people. I would expand the project
by making them follow two people and interact with them. I would have the students do chats if
the people offered them, and particapate in discussions.
