1. Sales and Marketing Assistant
The Sales and Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to the staff of the Sales
and Marketing Department. Duties include general research, clerical, and project based work.
The Sales and Marketing Assistant projects a professional company image through in-person
and phone interaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide support to customer service for:
a. Web inquiries
b. Phone inquiries
c. E-mail request for information
2. Manages Sales Aides and sample program
a. Maintains inventory
b. Sends out samples
c. Order/replenishment
3. Interface with Marketing Contractors
a. Photographer
b. Graphic designers
c. Marketing consultants
d. Web developer
4. Maintain company CRM Database in relation to sales and marketing requirements
5. Research unmet distribution needs and market structure (channels)
6. Gather and compile sales and marketing data from internal resources – provide reports to
management team for weekly and monthly reviews
7. Leveraging internal resources - design, coordinate and schedule training webinars for IRG’s
8. Coordinates employee travel (air/land, lodging, etc.) to and from Business development
and marketing related travel
9. Support staff in assigned project based work, including but not limited to:
a. Co-Develop procedures for contacting and qualifying leads
b. Co-Develop procedures for updating prospect information
c. Co-Develop procedures for competitive research and analysis
e. Correspondence to prospects and clients and prospects
f. Coordination of development of marketing pieces for print and internet
h. Preparation of sales proposals
10. Coordinate with our marketing, sales, and design to facilitate marketing functions (i.e.
brochures, trade shows, etc.). Research new market opportunities.
11. Research and report on current trends in hospitality and contract furniture industries
12. Benchmark competition
13. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing,
14. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop,
and InDesign
15. In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and require
