3. UseLess Ideas of Sustainable Design
I considered that design have to reduce,or
completely avoid depletion of critical resources
like energy,materials,water...etc.
Especially,Our earth is lack of resource.As a
designer,we have to focus on this issue when we
work.
The whale is composed by bamboo chips ,
arranged in a crisscross pattern.

4. Dedesign by experience
All of experience is the concepts which created
from experience of beauty,based on the
cognition which arising under All experiences are
perceived”.
One day,I go jogging with my father. Cell
phone ringing, he open the cover on his waist.
Suddenly,his cell phone slipped off the beg and
break by falling. I think the cell-phone cover for
people to hang on waist should have more better
design.

5. Learn from nature
Use natural element is a good idea for product
design,just like bionics design.
For example,applying organism‘s modeling or
material to meet user demand for product in the
psychological and functional.With particular
emphasis on natural ingredients of the product,let
their sharp or packing presents its own imagery will
be better than give irrelevant shape of them.

6. Dedesign by experience
A good design must think outside the box. It should
stand for users and realize what they need. This
includes field investigation and joining their daily
life. Only by having these real experience can
they know that what users really want.
This is a designed recreational facility for
children in a green field, suburb of Hsinchu.
When our group went to the park, having fun and
taking to the children, we found them particularly
enjoy running around and play with the slide,
which brought us to design further based on these
elements.
Certainly, there’s still a safety concern of this plan,
but children in the neighborhood said that it
would become heaven.

7. Design bring up convenient live
In my opinion, design is to solve problems. We
discover the inconveniences around us and offer
complete solutions to give us an intelligent living
which brings out more comfortable, more
convenient, and simpler way of life.
This is a designing idea for future, a light-weight
personal washing machine to put in a vehicle.
When going outdoor and coming up with
smudged clothes, we can quickly wash them in
the vehicle.
There are waterweeds in the interlayer of the
product. It can charge by being exposed to the
sun, which is very useful.

8. Transfer of design is important
As a designer, when developing cultural products,
we should recognize the meaning of local culture,
and we may gain its element to turn into layout.
We have to avoid using the original appearance,
and get rid of complicated elements
appropriately, which makes the products as
simple as possible in the process.
This is a designed tea set based on the imagery
of Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, which famous for its
sharp shape and folklore.
I put them into my tea sets’ design by using the
pure whiteness of ceramics to display their beauty.

9. culture Ｘ design
In order to flourish designing, adding local culture
is important in addition to new ideas and
creativity. Therefore design can be differentiated,
characterized and given a new face and value.
For instance, the esthetics of lunch boxes brought
up by 龍久庵 is based on the culture of Japanese
etiquette, which is a part of cultural and creative
industry.
This is a designed tea set based on the imagery
of Loukang in Taiwan, using the imagery of antler,
pattern and hooves. Later, adding color red and
god which represents festivity in China to present
wealth and consummation.

10. Imagination + creativity＝make things
possible.
Barbara Grizzuti Harrison say “Fantasies are more
than substitutes for unpleasant reality; they are
also dress rehearsals, plans. All acts performed in
the world begin in the imagination.”
I considered that magination is everything, it is the
preview of life’s coming attractions. So, as a
designer,we can’t quench our inspiration and
imagination. We muse design out of our
imagination, not our history!
This is a design concept of architecture. People
can overlook the city which is like a big cable car.
The cable surrounds the city which changes the
way we take the cable car.
People can choose to have fun, eat, or stay
overnight up there. How crazy it can be !

11. The intention of life
I think all of creat is come from observation
between sound.Designer must use penetrative
observation to watch more detail in our life.
This is a pencil sharpener with a kaleidoscopic
structure inside. I look to the peels with a new
insight and turn them into a work of art through
design.
Each time sharpening the pencil may create new
image, which users can obtain fun through it.

12. Resourcefulness
As a good designer must have to use limited
resources to create the largest possible.
Be aware of resources around with your life and
use them to your advantage.
“Seabed playing” is to design acrylic into
irregular shape which sunlight becomes sparkling
on the ground after going through it.
With more thought understanding the materials at
our fingertips, we may find them potential to
create.

13. Care for people
I think the good design must care for everybody.
That’s meat product is easy to use for everybody
as possible as it can,just like Universal Design!
“Gather” is a public seat for different group of
people to use it according to their habits and
preferences, including elders, parents and
children, friends, homeless people...etc.

14. customize and localize
The design of product should adjust measures to
local conditions.
Putting same product to other place will have
different effect.On the one hand,a same concept
for different product may have unexpected
effect!
”Delay“ is an airport seat by using the structure
of deck chairs which provides delayed passengers
to rest and also brings it into a full way of its limited
space.

15. Use of mataphor
Metaphorical Design often won people 's great
admiration .Not only is metaphor a rich and
revealing way of communicating experience, it is
central to the process of thought itself .
Add some metaphor for your design will be
interesting！
This is a posture to propagate the accessory in a
sign of “just us”. The logo of just us helps the girl as
a foot pad which means that just us can
encourage people to love.

16. Constantly striving to excel
Designer doesn't mean people who can design
well. They should be the people who have
designed their ideal life. Design is not pursuing the
endless invention. This will burn out the resources.
Take numbers for example, design is not pursuing
5, 10, 20 , 100, but finding 6.3, 6.8 between 6 and
7. Because between these numbers, there still exist
infinite possibility.
Ｗhen ferry disaster occurred,Survival jacket is a life
jacket that can convert seawater into warm.
Hence, goldenwindow is extended to about
10days. survival jacket can increase chances of
survival.

17. Touched your heart
You should do the design which can touched your
heart,first. You will be able to explore the outside
and have more wide vision after you find out the
special in yourself. Then,you can touched
everybody finally.
This is a container which we put our chopsticks.
When we are waiting our meal, we can use this
trivial time to play a game.
First, put several chopsticks into the holes which
around the container.
Later, put candies on the top of the container,
people stand around it and take out the
chopsticks by turns. The lucky guy will get the
candy under the container by taking out the
chopsticks.
