Chalkpiece is a fast growing Non Profit Organisation
which uses design as a tool to identify and solve social
problems. Our Primary Motto is to bring design
education as an Academic Syllabus in allSchools and
Colleges and also spread design awareness to all
people, especially among school students. Our main
intention is to give design education to enable people to
take up the right decision in their careers by applying
the design principles.

we started The micro chalk
lab with the collaboration of

We are introducing Genie who
works with the student group and
will collaborate with teachers and
help students to enhance the
understanding between them by
problem-solving, building trust,

week of Creative design program!
Activities like design and redesign

Chalkathon 2.0
It is exclusively been held for college
students with a creative and colorful mind
interested in designing.The theme being,
”College life during covid-19”. It is a 2-day
design thinking workshop being held by
trained professionals as a move to teach
young minds safely during this pandemic.

It’s April reshuffling of chalk library.
We reshuffled design kits, books,
activities. Our kids are smarter than
what we think! They are resolving,
reshuffling, and rewinding the entire
library ! We as a team make sure
every inch of the library and every
dot of the library must give them joy
and excitement to read!

Drawing fest 2021
Here is our kids voice for Bansterlite .
On May 22, 2018, 13 people were shot
dead for fighting for the environment
against the sterlite plant. This May 12
to 22 home-based protest against
those in full swing in the process of
reopening the plant if no action is
taken on it yet!

Mr. Isai Prakash, who performed the
story telling story with 100 schools
and more than a thousand children
at the story telling workshop held by
Chalkpiece, spoke to the children!

WORKSHOP
Chalklab Kids Alumni attended a
doodle workshop hosted by
Chalkpiece. They were told from
basic sketching to a character.
The characters created by them
will be digitally transformed and
will come to you. We will

years old Enthusiastic! Learning

Yes, our 8-year-old Alwin has

our kids! Through origami art
form engages students and

CHALK-VAN
We aim to provide some activity to
learn about education and design
through Chalk Van for children who
are unable to get an education. It is
mainly designed to provide free design
kits to economically backward
children. To achieve that we asked for
the address of the underprivileged
student. we got n number of requests
from various places. We verifying
student's backgrounds now the Kits
are getting ready for distribution!
CHALK LIBRARY
It’s library shuffling day Every month
we bring the best in the children
through this creative space! To be
surprised the result were amazing!
Reshuffling is done with some new
books kits n activity materials in our
chalk library. Check our student's

We created a Spotify podcast
channel to talk about how
Education is a necessity, design, as
well as an open discussion, will
also take place. It will be very fun
as well as amazingly educative for
our audience. First podcast was

talk space at the clubhouse! We
discussed NEP 2020 and were
devastated by the perspectives on

Training started with story
creation, a story to puppet
conversion. Now doodle training is
given to create a character and
comic creation sessions have
been taken too! At so end of the
day, fellows are able to create
their own comic story!

We Congratulate our Community

Coimbatore! This library is movable
from one place to another! Since it's
a count of 40 girls that will be helpful
to access it in portable mode. Also,

extra material and games with sisters
of the home as handy!

the kids; where learning expands beyond
classrooms and books to more inclusive, familiar,
creative methods that invite the children to ask
