Market Research 
Market research is any organized 
effort to gather information 
about target markets or customers. It 
is a very important component 
of business strategy. Market research 
is a key factor to maintain 
competitiveness over competitors.
Pricing 
Pricing is the process of determining 
what a company will receive in 
exchange for its product or service. 
Pricing factors are manufacturing 
cost, market place, competition, 
market condition, brand, and quality 
of product.
Packaging 
Packaging is the technology of 
enclosing or protecting products for 
distribution, storage, sale, and use. 
Packaging also refers to the process 
of design, evaluation, and 
production of package.
Branding 
Branding is the process involved in 
creating a unique name 
and image for a product in 
the consumers' mind, mainly 
through advertising campaigns with 
a consistent theme.
Sales Promotion 
Sales promotion is a promotional 
marketing technique designed 
to create sales for a product 
over a defined period of time.
Advertising 
Advertising in business is a form 
of marketing communication us 
ed to encourage, persuade, or 
manipulate an audience 
(viewers, readers or listeners; 
sometimes a specific group) to 
buy goods or services.
Distribution 
Distribution is the process of 
making a product or service 
available for use or consumption 
by a consumer or business user, 
using direct means, or using 
indirect means with 
intermediaries.
