2. Prices
• Because price is among the most crucial parts of a magazine, I intend
to have my price under £5. This is because most music magazines are
over £5 so it will make it easier for my magazine to compete.
This magazine front cover doesn’t have price on view. My magazine will have the
price on show so people know what the price is.
3. Images
• My magazine will only have a dominant image on the front cover and
wont have various sub images around it, as it is an older magazine
and not for kids. While this makes it a standout against other music
genres, it follows the same model as other rap magazines.
4. Bands/ Artists
My Magazine focuses on hip hop, meaning it will be looking at rappers. I want to look at both
Classic rappers and modern rappers to satisfy fans of both.
I don’t want to use freebies as I don’t
consider them necessary.
Vibe focuses on Classic rap, calling it
“real rap”
