This document evaluates the preliminary project. It notes several issues that arose from only using one camera, such as inconsistencies in lighting and character movement between shots. Specifically, the speed of a door opening and a character's walk were different than the matching shots. It also comments on what aspects worked well, like the shot reverse shot frames maintaining proportions and a match on action shot of a character entering a door.

2. During this shot, when she opens the
door the amount of light streaming in
warps the frame. Also the speed at
which the door is opened is different to
the back shot of our match on action.
This is because we did not use two
cameras, we could not retain the same
speed due to this.
During this shot character one looks
as if they have stopped for a brief
second before they start walking
towards the door again. This also is
due to the fact that we did not use
two cameras, we had to keep
pausing to change the angles.

3. In this shot, character two is looking
directly at the camera and there is a pause
before they speak as they are waiting for a
signal to continue because we only used
one camera and had to keep stopping the
filming to get the right angles.
Something that worked really well
were the shot reverse shot frames.
They are proportioned really well and
do not change through the shots even
though only one camera was used.

4. Another thing that worked really well was
the match on action shot when character
one comes through the door. They match
up correctly and character one does not
look as if they have stopped for the camera
to move into a backshot again.
This shot is good because it does not
disobey the 180 degree rule, this is because
the characters do not look as if they have
switched places.
