There are no qualifications in particular you need to become a senior photographer. It is
obvious having some sort of qualifications such as a HND, BTEC or even A levels is relevant,
having a degree will boost your chances and make people employing you think that you are
‘committed’ and ‘passionate’ about what you’re doing.
Here are the skills needed; Appreciation of Technology -Digital cameras use computers to
print modern images. Need to know how to use particular professional software.
Trial and Error is also involved Professional photographers rarely have one print of an image.
Training or Degree is not that essential in my opinion Photography is one of the few
professions that hire on based on a portfolio rather than a degree, although a degree is
helpful in making contacts for full-time employment.
I think that photographers will be managing models and layout designers who will position
images appropriately and in a right way where they will have a full on positive effect.

A college education is required for most editing jobs. Although it is possible for someone
who demonstrates strong writing and editorial skills to train on the job, a bachelor's degree
in English, communications or journalism is often a prerequisite for one seeking to become
an editor.
Skills needed for being a entertainment editor are good levels of creative vocabulary and
understanding of ways in which a positive emotion can be transferred to the audience
reading your magazine. I also think that you have to understand the way in which you layout
an entertainment issue meaning which layout will have the maximum effect on the
audience.

Most employers will expect marketing managers to have graduated in a business or
marketing-related degree and to have completed a professional qualification such as a
Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma or an Institute of Direct Marketing
Diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing. Competence in a foreign language will
invariably be a welcome addition to your CV.
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
This skill is needed daily. If you cannot interact with people let alone customers, how are you
going to ever persuade someone to purchase your product? It will be extremely difficult.
Don't be a stranger, start today by strike up conversations with your friends, mentors, even
your professors.
