QUADRATIC EQUATIONS
 The students are at an average 11th grade level
 There are a total of 22 students
 13 of them are girls and 9 of them are boys
 One has ADHD
Analyze the Leaner
Main Objective
 With a 90% accuracy, my students will recognize what a
quadratic equation is and select a method to complete the
equation for solving at the end of the week by learning the
quadratic formula song, watching videos on factoring, and
going onto wikispaces for practice exerices.
Day by Day Breakdown
 Monday- students will be introduce with a handout to what a quadratic
function is and looks like
 Tuesday- students will be introduce to the first method of solving
quadratics by factoring by watching a small clip on youtube
 Wednesday- students will learn the quadratic formula by singing
the two songs
 Thursday- students will go onto wikispaces and pick out the
appropriate method to use to solve the equation
 Friday- Students will make up there own equations for the class to
solve and explain what method they used in solving
