    for Beat magazine be?

               Typical Age/Gender group

       I feel the typical age group for Beat magazine will be between
        the 15-25 age group.

    I feel that this will be the average age group for Beat magazine
    because these are similar to the age group of the people listening
    to the music Beat targets.

       I feel the majority of this age group will be male.

    I feel the majority of people reading Beat magazine will be male
    because mainly boys listen to the R&B/Rap genres in Beat
    magazine, there will be a percentage of female readers so this
    will be taken into account when publishing.

                      Profile of audience

       The typical person who I feel will buy Beat magazine will be 18
        years old and male. He will buy the magazine in the gap
        between lessons at college and read the magazine over a
        couple of days. He will also take the magazine to work and will
        read the magazine in breaks and when not having to work
        particularly hard. He will have to read the magazine in sections
        and because of this the magazine will need to be easy to follow
        and easy to remember. The limit which he will be willing to
        spend on a magazine will be £2.50. He will be undecided on
        which Genre of magazine he will buy so the magazine needs to
        look worth reading so make him choose it over another
        magazine.
