AHLAN! QATAR CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY IN STYLE
Qatar movers and shakers gather at Doha Marriott to party

sales and marketing, celebrate the magazine's first bday.
Doha fashionistas, media professionals and party people were in top form for Ahlan! Qatar’s first birthday
at the Doha Marriott Hotel on Friday 13 December.
The celebration was held at the hotel’s late brunch, a fab party atmosphere where guests were
entertained by hot London DJ Kinky D while working their way around a delish buffet in a chilled al fresco
setting. Once the dinner was over, partygoers hit the dance floor to get down to Kinky D's upbeat funky
mix.
Party guests included Junita Hughes and Ana Lechuga from modelling agency Trinity Talent Qatar, Kellie
Silva from Fashion Rocks Qatar, Allam Fadel Al Asmar from Salam, the team from Agency 222, and the
Doha Marriott’s Marwan Haddad, Katie Roberts and Cristobal Galit Jr.
Readers who won a competition promoted in the magazine were special guests at the party, which was
hosted by Ahlan! Qatar editor Dawn Gibson and group sales manager Walid Chehab.
The birthday bash – complete with a scrumptious sponge cake decorated with the magazine logo whipped
up by the clever chefs at the Doha Marriott – capped off a successful first 12 months.
