After years (and careers) following other’s lead, it took a little fortune cookie to tell us what we’d been telling others. “Take control.” 				“Be proactive.” “Get yourself out there.” Today, CoreComm PR has helped write the “story” for some of the brightest ideas around….and we are searching for more. Beth Hawks     With 20  years experience in public relations and communications, Beth Hawks is a seasoned professional whose career has offered opportunities to gain diverse experience in a variety of industries and arenas.  From large internationally-known brands to local start-up businesses, government and public relations agencies; she has gained experience guiding communications efforts that are truly unique.  As the driving force behind CoreComm PR, Beth aims to provide high-level customized targeted public relations plans and communications for companies looking to strike new ground.  Beth’s corporate background enables her to have a greater understanding of the client side of the relationship and the ability to foresee the overall impact of her work within an organization.  She intends for her services to provide support to the overall marketing mix and likes to work closely with clients to further sales goals, advertising and marketing concepts. Beth Hawks     Beth’s passion is in the area of specialty of media relations, devising creative client campaigns and pitching them to the media. She has extensive experience crafting “the story” for consumer media as well as trade press. Beth Hawks     She has directed PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS efforts for such well-known hotel brands as Holiday Inn hotels & resorts, Crowne Plaza, Microtel Inns & Suites and Hawthorn Suites. Beth has created such national community service projects as Lend A Hand for Holiday Inn Worldwide & the American Red Cross for which she received a Golden Bell award from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. As an OUTSIDE MEDIA RELATIONS CONSULTANT, Beth has worked for some of the largest public relations firms in the world.   • 26. Our Work… Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. We publicized many high-profile events and gained local and national attention for the school including a statewide Trauma Forum, Georgia’s Aging Population, visit by the Presidnet of Rwanda and more. A Product of CPFilms, a division of Solutia. For four years, CoreComm PR has provided national media relations for the GILA Film Products brand, the leading DIY window film brand in the U.S. We placed articles in the local and national press. CoreComm has won two MarCom awards for our work with GILA Window Film. The Partnership for Reform in Science and Mathematics is an initiative of the University System of Georgia. CoreComm helped launch the statewide awareness campaign. Activities include launching a public awareness program, media relations, media training and more.
  • 27. Our Work… CoreComm PR has worked with Epps Aviation for more than three years and provides general public relations support for the region’s top Fixed Base Operation. In 2007 we also provided media relations for the Centennial of Flight in Georgia and the National Business Aviation Association. For Nitrolingual Pumpspray, CoreComm PR is focusing our efforts in the St. Louis market through community relations, events and media relations.
