Corporation often uses digital
distribution making exhibition
available via Netflix, games
consoles and other digital
technology e.g. tablets, phones.
Even though Paramount is very
impressive we did not choose
them as our distribution
company as we felt they did not
distribute enough horror films
with the sub genre of slasher,
and we wanted to choose an
experienced distribution
company for our specific genre.
Universal Studios
Universal Studios is an
American distribution
company which has
distributed horror films
such as:
Jaws
Jurassic Park
The Lost World:
Jurassic Park
Although these were
successful horror films
they do not fit in with our
sub genre of slasher. The
reason we considered
using them is for their time
in the business, Universal
Studios is one of the oldest
and most successful
distribution companies,
they have maintained all
their glory. Universal
Studios distributes a wide
variety of films, which fall
under many genres,
however the sub genre that
they don’t seem to
distribute is slasher, which
was very unfortunate for
us. Due to this fact we
decided not to use this
distribution company.
