Thiswas our firstdayof editing,Iwasa bitoverwhelmedbythe amount of footage Ihad, I wentover
and re watchedit all,selectingoutthe bestpartsthat wouldmake the film, thistookupthe majorityof
the lesson,towardsthe endIstartedto put some of the footage forthe beginningtogetherinorder.
Monday 10th

For thislesson,Istartedworkingonthe beginningscene,andthe orderIwantedthe clipsin,I finished
this.I alsoput onthe footage forthe lip-syncingscene onandstartedto playaroundwiththat.

that I favoritedforthe breakdownscene onand startedto cut themto geta rough ideaof length.

On ThursdayI startedto workon the performance scene,and tomake the montage work,I was
strugglingtomake it seemup-beatandenergetic,soIstartedto lookforaudio.I foundmusicforthe
openingscene aswell asthe performance scene andputthemwiththe clips,whichstartedtobringitall
together.
HALF TERM
Monday 24th

To refreshmymemory,Iwatcheditall througha couple times,anditwasclear that I neededtoeditthe
endingscene of the breakdown,thiswasthe mostchallengingscene,sotooka lotof time.Ialsoworked
on soundeffectsthroughoutthe whole film, andthe continuityof the film.Istayedinat lunchthisday,
so managedtoget a lot done.
Wednesday26th

I spentmostof thislessonworkingonthe lip-syncingscene andtryingtogetaudioto match, I also
lookedatcontinuityforthe counsellingscenes,andmakingsure eachclipflowedfromone another,by
addinggradientfades.Iaddedtitlestothe beginningscene whichstartedtobringittogethermore.
Monday 2nd

On MondayI workedon the sounda lot,and fadingthe audioinand out,I alsomade sure the sound
was consistent,whichwasa correctionIgot whenwe showedagroup of our peersourinitial roughcut.
I alsostartedto lookat colour gradingandwatchedtutorialsonhow to do it.

On Thursdaywe didn’thave a lesson,butImanagedto getintothe suite,andworkedonmy film, I
workedonaudiofor the breakdownscene andcontinuitythroughout.

For the whole lessonIworkedoncolourgrading,aswell asrepeatedlywatchingoverthe film, tofind
mistakes,thisbecame tedious.Ialsoaskedmypeerstowatchit, to see if theycouldfindanyI couldn’t.

I finishedmycolourgradingandstartedmycreditsat the end,as well asfinishingtouches.
Friday6th

Finally,Ifinishedmycreditsandaddedanycorrectionsthatmy teacherhadgave me fromthe previous
lesson.
