1. CAST:
Whenchoosingmycast, I had twomaincharacters, so I knew itwasimportantto choose actors who
were confidentonportrayingtheirparts.Ithoughtof Luca as the drag queen,ashe doesdrag outside of
college,aswell asstudyingmusical theatreatuniversity,soIwasconfidenthe wouldbe able toplaythe
part well.
I choose Niamhasthe role forthe counsellor,asI know she isa strong actor, butis alsoveryconfident,
so I thoughtshe wouldbe able topull off a counsellorverywell.
We didsome readingsessionsof the scripttogetheracouple of daysbefore the filmingday,togetsome
inputonthe script,butalso sotheycouldprepare for theirrole,theywasbothverykeenandgave
helpful notes.
CREW:
For my crewI had Jantagarn and Dimple andIsabelletaylor-pierce.Iknew Iwantedthemtohelpascrew
duringthe day,as theyare all veryhelpful,andunderstoodthe visionIhad.I gave my scriptout to them
on the day so theyknewwhatIwantedwhen,theyhelpedwithlightingandmakingsure Ididn’tbrake
any rules,suchas the 180 degree rule.
