1/8/13- The Library presented “Free Productivity Apps and Websites Workshop: Part 1-
Cloud Computing From Anywhere.” 9 students and 1 faculty member attended.
Student Development & Campus Life sponsored the event. Results:
• Of the 10 survey responses, 100% answered Yes when asked if they gained
something of value from today’s program what would help them be more productive
in their coursework.
• Of the 10 survey responses, 100% answered Yes when asked if they gained
something of value from today’s program what would help them be more
productive in their daily life
• The three favorite tools learned from Part 1 of the program were Berkeley’s Virtual
Lab, Drop Box and Google Drive.
• Some comments were:
-This presentation was excellent. The information is very
useful and current.
-Excellent presentation! Very current and informative!
-This presentation cleared the cloud in my mind regarding
the cloud.
-Great presentation.! I will never use a flash drive again! -

1/15/13-The Library presented “Free Productivity Apps and Websites Workshop:
Part 2- Cool Free Apps and Websites You Should Know About.”12 students, 1
faculty member and 1 associate attended. Student Development & Campus Life
sponsored the event.
• 100% of the 10 surveys filled out revealed that participants felt the Part 2 of the
program series was of value in both their coursework and daily life.
• The favorite tools learned were Prezi (60%), Evernote, Skitch and Mozilla
Popcorn, FlipBoard (30%) and BC Writing LibGuide and Son of Citation Machine
(20%).
• Comments from the survey:
-Excellent information for a variety of purposes!
-I downloaded some apps and I love them!
-Great job ladies!!!
-Excellent exposure to very useful resources!--

1/15/13-The Library presented “Free Productivity Apps and Websites Workshop:
Part 3- 10 Websites for your Personal Life.”8 students attended the event. 5
Student received a certificate for completion of all three parts of the 3-Part Series.
Student Development & Campus Life sponsored the event.
• 100 % of the 8 surveys revealed that the participants gained something of value
from Part 3 of the series to help them to be more productive in their coursework.
• 87% of the 8 surveys revealed that the participants gained some of value from
Part 3 of the series to help them be more productive in their daily life.
• Favorite tools learned were: Kelly Blue Book (37.5%), Career Builder, BUS 225
LibGuide and Occupational Outlook Handbook (25%) and GlassDoor and
Snopes (18%).
• Comments were:
-Fantastic presentation even though the computer had issues ! You
two keep great positive energy throughout!
-Thanks again for excellent presentation!
