This document presents a project presentation for an NPK measurement and seeding robot. The robot measures nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels in soil through a color sensor and chemical tests. It then dispenses fertilizers as needed and seeds crops by moving across fields. The robot is designed to help farmers with seeding and fertilizing tasks at low cost with accuracy and reliability. It uses various sensors, motors, and a microcontroller to autonomously measure soil nutrients, calculate fertilizer needs, and distribute seeds in pits as it moves. Future work may include adding cameras, joysticks, and sensors for moisture and pH levels.

4. INTRODUCTION
Agricultural robotics
• Agricultural robotics is the use of automation in bio
systems such as agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. It is
replacing the conventional techniques to perform the
same tasks, with efficiency.
• The labs available for soil contents’ testing are available
at district places only.

FLOW CHART
• Put the soil sample in the chemical kit.
• Manually perform chemical tests and a solution is
obtained.
• Put it in front of color sensor.
• Color sensor will give the values of N P K based on the
color in the solution.
• Check if the key is pressed.
• If key is not pressed , a message on LCD is displayed to
press the key again.
• Display values of N P K on LCD.

• Start the respective motors for dispensing accordingly
based on calculations.

• To make an effort to overcome fertilizing problems
faced in agriculture. By implementing this project in the
field of agriculture we can help the farmers in the initial
stage of agriculture i.e. during the seeding and
fertilizing.
• The project design can be further expanded by
implementing camera and joystick combination so as to
see if any obstacle is present and can move robot
accordingly. Moisture content, soil pH detection can
also be added.
