Military spouses face high unemployment rates despite many being highly educated. There are over 1.3 million active duty military personnel in the US, with over 690,000 spouses accompanying them. However, 1 in 4 military spouses are unemployed or looking for a new job, despite programs to help with tuition and many spouses holding college degrees or higher education.
