Walt Disney wanted to make a place where adults
and their children could go and enjoy. Disney Land
was opened in 1955 it is the first of two theme parks
built at Disney resort in Anaheim, California. It took
a huge investment of $17 million to make
Disneyland. It was built under the direct supervision
of Walt Disney.

Disney Land has larger attendance than any other theme
park in the world; it has over 650 million guests since it
open. The fiftieth anniversary of Disneyland was an
eighteen month long celebration. There are 65700 jobs
supported by Disneyland. From our childhood days we
heard a lot about Disneyland and always wanted to go there
and have fun with our family. We all found Disneyland very
a good topic to make project on as we think it is easy to
research on Disneyland. Moreover, Disneyland is a means
of entertainment so it will be fun working on it.
4. Idea of Making Disneyland
• Walt Disney visited many amusement parks with his
daughters where he came up with an idea of making a
place people from every generation could come and have
fun.
• He planned to have flying elephants and giant teacups, a
fairy-tale castle, moon rockets, and a scenic railway.
• All inside a magic kingdom he called "Disneyland."
