  1. Traditional marketing terms and concepts that form the foundation for developing a companies marketing plan. In any event we must not loose site that these marketing concepts are key to the success for SFM&S. Learn from them and you execute based on them.
  2. This is an approach that will have to factor in what the customer buying process is. As we move from process driven sales to CRM based selling we find ourselves having to deal with the online word of search and social to help build relationships and achieve sales.
  3. We know that the cheese is now online! Question is how do we get some of it.
  4. People passing their companies that are similar to yours – ex partners/competitorsListing ClaimsSelling sometimes is hard and using negative keywords and claiming your listings for those negative keywords are importantExample of the guy who is selling the best secret to riches without SEO, internet etc.
  5. Important aspect is to sell well to clients with laser clarity and absolute honesty that:You don’t know it allYou can not always predict how the markets will behaveYou can pilot certain initiatives and measure the results and them move to streamline the initiatives

When you did a TV advert – other than getting a counter to tell you how many viewers you had you had no idea what the ROI was.Pamphlet distributions – you had no idea what % was actually distributed.Local newspapers advertising you had to spend first before you saw ROI.Radio as well – so what is different now.Nothing succeeds like failingBrutal honesty – being brutally honest with your client develops the platform for prototyping and perfecting without false expectations
