negative as it focuses on the violence, drugs and graffiti.
The lyrics in hip hop songs associate with violence and crime
which is why the media suggest that it is influencing young
people into committing more criminal offences.
However in music magazines like Vibe it is portrayed as the
best genre of music and it is very up beat.
