Images of locations

1. Location Reece
I have chosen this location because the simple brick wall would contrast well to my Rock magazine and with the model.
It doesn’t give anything away about the genre so the attention would entirely be on the artist in the main image. This is
important because that is what will catch the readers eye, no the background. The most important part is the model not
where they are stood so this background draws all the attention to the model.

I have chosen this staircase in the Kitson building because it doesn’t take the limelight away from the model in the main
image. When you look at my magazine I want the attention to be on the model and not on what is going on around
them, this location doesn’t exactly that. It also isn't a location you would usually see in Rock magazine so by using it I
am breaking conventions.

I have include these stairs because the full attention would be on the model and that is what I want. It is also shows a
good contrast between my model and the genre. I’ve chosen to do it outside because there would be good natural lighting
and so I wouldn’t have to do anything with the camera or the photo once I have uploaded it so I would be making it
easier for me to create the magazine at the end.

I have chosen this location because it is the complete opposite of what my genre is and so the magazine would stand out
more because it is breaking conventions that they are used to. It is also outside so the natural outside lighting would help
enhance the image so it wouldn’t need any Photoshop done to it.
