1. Drop cap –
the majority
of magazines
use a drop
cap at the
start of an
interview or
article.
Main image – I
purposely
made the main
image be on
one side and all
of the text on
one side, I did
this so you can
concentrate on
one at a time
rather than the
image being
lost behind the
text. The main
figure is looking
into the
camera so it
engages the
reader with the
story and the
artist.
Text – again like with my contents page and my front cover. I used a text that steered away from
the norm. I did this to fit in with my genre of music as it will appeal to my target audience more. I
put a box around my text and faded it so the text is more clearly readable over the background
image.
Mast head – with my masthead I copied and pasted it from my front cover onto indesign. I faded
the background so there was no white around the masthead anymore. I thought this would make
it look more professional.
