2. Analyze the Learner
— There are 25 students in my class. Fifteen are girls
and 10 are boys. 75% white and 25% AfricanAmerican.
3. Objective
— My third grade students will recite their 9s by
listening to a song that will help them memorize
them. They will learn a certain amount each day,
and they will also play a game online at the end of
the week which they will be graded on. At the end
of the week they will recite their 9s with 100%
accuracy.
4. Day 1
— My third grade class that has 25 students in it will
be introduced to the nine table.
— They will be split up into five groups
— They will learn multiplication table through four by
flashcards.
— The students will watch a video on YouTube.
5. Day 2
— Overview of 1-4 and play a game of the groups
answering the question the quickest.
— They will learn multiplication table 5 through 8.
— They will learn a song for their 9 multiplication
table by Marcy Allen.
6. Day 3
— Over view of multiplication table 1-8 by flashcards
and they will learn 9-12.
— They will sing along with the song they learned the
day before.
— They will learn 9-12 by flash cards.
7. Day 4
— They will sing the song they learned by Marcy Allen.
— They will split into their groups and play with the
flash cards.
— We will play multiplication bingo as a class and
whoever wins gets to get in the treasure box.
8. Day 5
— They will go over all of the 9s.
— The students will play a game online and be graded
by how well they do.
— We will play Slap Happy to see how well they know
their 9s.
