Stephanie and Samantha are friends. Stephanie is
nine years old and Samantha is six. One day, they were
sitting outside on a blanket. The girls were sitting next to a
big apartment building. They looked up. A little boy was
crawling out a window. It was on the fourth floor.
Stephanie and Samantha picked up the blanket and ran to
the building. They held the blanket under the window.
Stephanie held one side of the blanket and Samantha held
the other side. “Hold on tight”, Stephanie told Samantha.
The boy’s head, shoulders and arms were out of the
window. He put his leg out of the window. Then,
he fell. Stephanie and Samantha caught him in the
blanket. Paramedics came. The boy was fine. “Lucky boy”,
the paramedics said. “Smart girls!”
