God's intention towards people is that we need to give equal care to the body, spirit and soul. We forget caring the Body being so spiritual in following Christ. Physical care is very important in spiritual life too. Be Blessed!

7. KINGDOM OF GOD – AND YOU
 You are so Important in the Kingdom of God.
 Jesus prepared the disciples for His Kingdom Extension –
We are on Relay that Jesus Left.
 There is no Spiritual – Secular (or) Physical – Spiritual
dichotomy in Kingdom Works. God looks at you in holistic
way (As a person)
 There is no Kingdom Works – Without YOU! (Paul in
tension between Living for Christ – Dying for Christ in Phil
1:21-24 Living – Benefit for People; Dying benefit for me)
 Love the Lord with all your Soul, Mind & Strength (Luke
10:27) It includes Spiritual and Physical attributes in loving
God

8. KINGDOM WORKS
 We are Partners and Partakers in Kingdom
Works with God.
 God gives grace to do – You have to do.
 If you don’t care yourself (Body), you are
destroying the temple of God 
 God does not call us to be BUSY anywhere in the
scripture but calls us to be FRUITRUL. You can be
busy doing but not being Fruitful !

9. YOU ARE SO IMPORTANT TO GOD
God cares for You – So You must care yourself !!
 1 Cor. 3:16-17 – “Don’t you know that you yourselves are
God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If
anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that
person; for God’s temple is sacred, and YOU are that
temple”
 1 Cor. 6:19-20 – “Do you not know that your bodies are
temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
received from God? You are not your own; you were
bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your
bodies.”

10. COMPARISON
Your Body = Temple of God / HS
Temple in General Understanding…
 The Dwelling place of God (Sanctuary)
 Sacred & Holy (Romans 12:1-2)
 Life Giving (Life Center?)
Jesus compared his body to Temple (John2:19)
No need to be Spiritualize Everything – God Looks Everything
Spiritual in You (Entertainment / Sports / Friends / Money /
Prayer / Meditation). God cares about all!

11. HONOR GOD WITH BODIES !
1 Cor. 6:19-20 – “Do you not know that your bodies are
temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at
a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.”
- Sleep Well - Don’t Eat Fast Food (Junk)
- Drink Water - Take Time (Day) off
- Have Walk - Work out (Exercise)
- If you don’t take care of your body – You destroy the temple
of God (We are God’s Personal Representatives – 2 Cor. 5:20).
God does things through You!
- What do you do on Sundays???

12. REST (GENESIS 2:2-3)
PHYSICAL REST (SLEEP – LAY DOWN – RELAX – SIT)
Rest is not taking a day off and think about Problems and anxieties.
“Listen to your body when it whispers, so that you don’t need to
worry of its screaming.”
Genesis 2:2-3, “By the seventh day God had finished the work he
had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his
work.Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because
on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.”
Exodus 20:8-10, “Remember the Sabbath (Rest) day by keeping it
holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh
day is a Sabbath (Rest) to the LORD your God.” (10 Commandment?)

13. GOD RESTED - CAN GOD REST?
Isaiah 40:28, “Do you not know? Have you not
heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator
of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or
weary, and his understanding no one can fathom”
God’s Rest Symbolically means two things
1. An Example to Us (That we must Rest)
2. The Eternal (Sabbath) Rest (Rest in Soul)

14. GOD’S REST – AN EXAMPLE TO US!
 “God Looked all his creation, and it was good” – He
made it Holy - He Enjoyed looking back of all that He
Created.
 Do you take time to celebrate (Enjoy) Your – Joy –
Achievements – Positive Things – Family – Children –
Friends – House – Grand Children.
 Hard work is good – Too much of any good things
make things bad – 18% of Americans don’t even
take paid vacations – Working hard to climb the
ladder of success
 8 hrs of Worry = 40 hrs of hard work.

15.  Mat 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you
and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy
and my burden is light.”
 Jesus offers Eternal Rest to the Souls – People ashamed to
say “I rested yesterday!” – The statement seemed as lazy/
un-ethical term in modern world.
 Jesus was never too busy doing things – Just 3½ years of
ministry – He should have hurried but he says “Learn
From Me” (v.29) – Jesus offers REST & PEACE.
 Build up Stress is source for all physical diseases.
GOD’S REST – AN ETERNAL REST!

16. PEACE (REST) IS CONNECTED TO YOUR JOY
 John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I
do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your
hearts be troubled (agitated) and do not be afraid.”
 Enjoy your life when you have problems – Rest (Physically
& Mentally) when you have problems.
 Joy of the Lord is our Strength: If there is no JOY – There
will be no PEACE & There will be no REST.
 Your part is vital in the Kingdom of God. Therefore Enjoy
your Time / Leisure /Rest and Take Better Care for Yourself

17. APPLICATION
 Understand God’s Anointing (in us) enable
us to do things – Not our Hard Work !
 Find out (Identify) your Peace-Stealers and
get rid of them (The impact of mobile
/technology in daily life) !
 God made Sabbath (Rest) for people – Not
people for Sabbath (Tradition) – Mark 2:27 !
 External & Internal Rest possible only when
you give “Better Care for Yourself” (or) Plan
to do something about it !
