3. These are some examples of magazines which have used box out text within their articles in
the past. I have decided to create my own box out text at the end of the article I will be making. This
box out text is used to give the reader further information about an artist or the artist that are not
included in the article itself, being the person’s personal opinion. These pieces of information will be
short facts that are general pieces of information that music fans of the artist may wish to know, due
to being a new artist. Furthermore many of these fans are serious about the music and so would
want to know a lot about the artist as well. I have chosen to include information such as her
favourite colour, full name and other pieces of information.
I have also to decided to add not only a box out text for the fact file of
LEAH FACT
my artist but also a box at the end of the article with relevant tweets from
the readers of the magazine relating to the article. Opinions about what
FILE
they thought of the news that we were realising the article as well as
Full Name: Leah Charlotte Love
interviewing the artist. This would be a great way to allow the readers to
Age: 21
feel involved within the magazine as well as have a personal relationship
Home Town: London, England
Favourite Food: Sushi
with both the magazine and the artist; using the uses and gratification
Favourite Colour: Red
theory.
