NEW REQUIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT : Business Analyst<br />Location: Stamford, CT <br />Start: ASAP <br />Duration: 3+ Months <br />Job Purpose:<br />Incumbent will analyze new IT project requests, develop and analyze requirements, and provide business requirement documentation, specifications, and project tracking as required. Duties may also require writing project charter/requirement specs, project change control tracking, and weekly status updates. Will also be participating in communication with vendors and partners, for integrating applications.<br />Conduct business and risk analysis, derive, and document project charters, detailed business requirement, create project plans using MS Project, and weekly status updates.<br />Interact with business users, IT personnel, clients, vendors, and management. <br />Assist PMs in establishing realistic project timelines, and assign tasks to project team personnel. <br />Communicates effectively and openly throughout all levels, both verbal and written.<br />Possesses analytical “problem solving” and documentation skills.<br />Manages time and problem solving in an efficient manner.<br />Strong attention to detail to alleviate any unnecessary errors.<br />Executes assigned project tasks within established schedule, and proactively sets expectations.<br />Provides excellent service, quick responsiveness, and follow-up on both internal and external customers.<br />Qualifications <br />3-5 years of project/business analysis experience. <br />Must be able to learn new applications quickly and be able to work with minimal supervision. <br />Must have the ability to analyze user requirements and assess options for providing solutions. <br />Must be a good liaison, and be able to communicate user requirements to technical staff, and vice-versa. <br />Must have excellent technical writing skills, and have the ability to communicate at several different levels from end user to top management.<br />Experience in web-based environment preferred. <br />Experience of internet protocols, such as ASP.NET, C#, Web services, SOA is a must. <br />Must be proficient in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Visio.<br />Must be very familiar with Microsoft Project, and should be able to navigate quickly, and produce accurate project plans with multiple dependencies.<br />BA or BS in computer science or equivalent experience.<br />Knowledge or understanding of CSS, html, AJAX and browser compatability concerns a plus.<br />LinkedIn Link: https://www.box.net/shared/kfr2eixbjko4cff5cprh<br />Regards, <br />Arjun K.
