• Tutorial vs Workshop
– # of days
– Class size
• Current focuses: IXP, Routing, IPv6, Network Security, CERT/CSIRT,
DNS/DNSSEC, MPLS & SDN
• For intermediate to advanced level of training
• Usually will have 2 trainers
– Will work with certain partners sometimes
• Provide Certificate of Attendance after completion
• Not very scalable

• Self-paced learning platform using Learning Management
System (LMS)
– Moodle
• For introductory to intermediate level of training
• Will provide certification after passing the quizzes
• Highly scalable
• Currently 3 courses available: “Introduction to CyberSecurity”,
“Internet Resource Management” & “Routing Basics”

• Considered as volunteers as they usually have full-time jobs
– Small honorarium will be paid for each engagement

• Regional knowledge & expertise
• Will also be considered as advisors for improvement of APNIC
