to the sides. A low pressure zone is thus created behind the
venturi that accelerates the water flow across the turbine.

Venturi and 3-4 propeller water turbines
By channeling the flow of tidal and river currents through our venturi shrouded turbine, we are able to capture almost quadruple the power of a free standing turbine.
As a result, we are able to harness flowing water—the most reliable energy source on the planet—at a fraction of the cost of our competitors, whether alternative energy or fossil fuel sources.

Given public interest in harnessing alternative energy, governments are offering substantial incentives for utilities to add a growing mix of alternative energy sources to their power generation portfolios. Tidal energy is receiving the highest of these subsidies, so that in the UK the price being paid is in the range of 40 cents per kWh.
Since manufacturing our equipment represents less than 10 percent of the cost of deployment, we believe that acting as a developer of projects enables us to leverage our patented design advantages and manage widespread deployments to the greatest benefit of our enterprise.

Since the world is thirsting for energy and people are especially interested to support alternative energy sources, preferential markets abound for the power we can produce.
