• Welcome! You have been given a top secret mission by the President of the
United States!
This mission will require you to take your journal and travel back in time to the
world of ancient Egypt.
You will need to record your findings in your journal to present to the President.
There are four categories you will be exploring:
1) Religion
2) Places
3) Pharaohs
4) Artifacts

3. Task
• Once you have gathered all the information necessary,
you must present your journals to the President and then be able to talk
to her about your findings.
She is doing research but is too busy traveling back in time in
Switzerland
The President has never traveled to ancient Egypt
so to give her a better idea of how things look you should have drawings
in your journals to show her as well.
You're going back in time, so do not be seen!

These documents will have everything you need to get your
information.

• Your Tasks:
Mission 1- Code Name: Religion
In the links provided, you will learn about ancient Egyptian gods, goddesses, rituals and
mummies. Write down all your findings, and draw pictures to help you remember!
Mission 2- Code Name: Places
Here you will have to gather information about the great pyramids of Giza, as well as the
Sphynx and other great structures. You should draw pictures for this mission, for camera can't
been seen when you've traveled back in time!
Mission 3- Code Name: Pharaohs
This mission you will need to record your findings on the famous Pharoahs of ancient Egypt.
Good luck, and remember: you can't be seen!
Mission 4- Code Name: Artifacts
Here your mission will be to learn about the artifacts of ancient Egypt. This will include
canopic jars, statues, and jewelry. Make sure you write down all of your findings!
