This document is a power point presentation on plant tissues submitted by Devi D. It introduces the different types of plant tissues formed from meristematic cells including parenchyma, collenchyma, sclerenchyma, and vascular tissues. Parenchyma tissue is composed of cells with the simplest structure found in soft plant parts and helps with photosynthesis and food storage. Collenchyma provides flexibility and support with thick cell walls at the corners. Sclerenchyma has uniformly thick cell walls and provides strength and support. Vascular tissues include xylem and phloem, with xylem transporting water and minerals and phloem transporting food.
