 Has long attention and finishes activities
 She can fill up page after page in her
coloring books with partially colored
pictures.
6-8years
 She is very cooperative with the teacher and has
a small group of friends at school and one friend
in the neighborhood.
 She is pretty good at learning the words of
songs in school and has a decent voice.
 She is interested in the children’s lives and
particular enjoys hearing about what they do to
have fun.
 She works independently, usually listens
attentively and follows directions, and usually
follows classroom rules.
 Her outbursts of anger are less frequent.
8-10 years
 She is kind of a
tomboy, wants to ride
her bike to the school
grounds after school.
She likes to play
whiffle ball or
basketball with
neighbor boys and one
or two other girl
friends
12-14years
 She has shown an increased interested in
boys, she is more interested in articles
about sex in teen and women’s
magazines.
 She spends lots of time hanging out and
seeing movie with some friends
