CJM PRODUCTIONS
would like to present our team, through our team, they posses different characters and
different techniques that will help and benefit into making our opening sequence.

INTRODUCING
Molly McDonnell – Main focus was the location, location means everything to our
opening sequence, but also helping to direct the O/S.
Jack Knight - Responsible for the Production and Creation of the Logo, but also posses
the talent of camerawork.
Cilla Kerigun – Main focus is into designing the Opening Sequence so it fits the genre,
lighting, colours (mise –en-scene).
THE MOMENT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING
         FOR..

            Film Title – Street Life
                  Genre - Drama
                   Certificate – 15

A murder. A gang. A boy. One reason to find out who killed his parents.
it’s genre is Drama, there’s not a lot of drama films available to watch right now, that ’s why we
chose to do this genre, as it appeals to the people who live in this generation, however young or
old they are.

it has some similarities with the ones that have been released in the past 5 years, such as
Kidulthood, Adulthood, 4.3.2.1
Introducing Jay Mill - Previous life was part of the notorious gang, which consisted of
him selling drugs, and committing a various amount of violent attacks. After time in
prison, he wants to change his life and escape from the gang life.

Introducing Titus green - He is the ringleader of thee gang, jay wants to be a
part of, however Titus wants something in return for him being a new member.
OPENING SEQUENCE
Location

The location, is off east road (one of the main roads used in Cambridge). We
wanted to find a place that resembled a run down building so we decided to use a
underground garage.
As our characters we want it to reflect real life not which you may presume it
to be stereotypical.

Jay Mill is the main lead role in the opening sequence – typically dressed in a
hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.
Titus Green for is another character in the sequence will be dressed in a black
with the signature durag on his head which typically gang members wear.
By dressing the characters like this it portrays the life of people living in the
21st century.
Challenges that faced us, was that we were not 100% sure on was the idea
of the plot, to find one that has not already been recycled too many times but
one that if new, thrilling but also something that effects people in everyday
lives today.
Also finding the correct people to fit into our characters was difficult, but all
together we found the right people for the role.
WE ARE VERY MUCH WELCOME TO ANY
QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR
US?
THANKYOU FOR LISTENING TO OUR PROPOSAL
