Regina And Julius Caesar Similarities
In the play Julius Caesar, Caesar says, ":But I am as constant as the northern star, of whose true fix'd and resting quality." This is a perfect example
that people no matter how popular you are, there is always someone who is going to try to take it away from you. Another problem with this quote is
that you should be nice to people or something bad will happen to you. Life by the rule treat others how you want to be treated.
Julius Caesar is similar and different to regina of mean girls in many ways. The first way that the two are similar is that both the characters are high in
society, Julius Caesar is a loved government official that all the people of the city love. He is the head of everything, every single person in Rome

Summary Of Nighttime Fires By Regina Barecca
"Nighttime Fires" by Regina Barecca Regina Barecca's poem "Nighttime Fires" explains a complex view of the narrator's father. This poem recalls a
part of the unnamed narrator's life that she is still trying to understand it in her adulthood. This poem illustrates the long lasting impression that was
made on a little girl, whose father seeks satisfaction by watching the destruction that is caused by the nighttime fires. The poem creates imagery in the
audience's mind of a father's character, as his grown daughter still remembers the events that took place when she was five years old. This poem is
about a father, who is a victim of the economic downfall that leads him to be without a job; yet, his actions and behaviors are very unusual and
unforgivable. The disappointment with the society that has made him unsuccessful in Regina Barreca's "Nighttime Fire" tells us the thoughts that the
speaker has towards her father.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, it is difficult to understand why the mother would allow the children being taken out in the midnight with sickness. The father would
find a fire to observe, and would have the mother to wake all seven children up in their pajamas. It didn't matter if they were sick, the father would
still put them in the car and drive towards the fire. The speaker says that her father smiles from a "secret, brittle heart," when he sees all the
destruction of a rich person's house. The speaker says, "His face lit up in the heat given off by destruction/ like something was being made, or was
being set right" (19–20). Instead of watching the scene, the mother watches him because she is afraid of him and his strange behavior that is taking
over his life. His anger issue makes the whole family suffer for the problems that only he could fix

Informative Essay On Regina
The city the I chose for my presentation is Regina. It's the capital city of Saskatchewan, one of the provinces of Canada. I chose it because I was
intrigued about its history. Regina was a pile of bones before because of the first nations who came to hunt buffalo for food, shelter and etc and
what all left are bones. The first settler did was, they pile all the bones and years went by Regina stood by its own, despite of what its name before,
``The Pile of Bones ``(regina.ca), and now Regina is one of the sunniest city and called the land of the living skies. The city on summer looks so
green and sunny and warm and has a lot of recreational specially for families. Despite of warm and sunny summer, in winter, it faces mostly severe
winter storms.

Regina Mills: Forgiving As Snow And Charming
Regina Mills stood on the balcony overlooking the newly United Realms. She took the quiet moment to reflect on the events of her life leading to this
point. She reminisced of the few good times as a child. Quiet moments playing in the fields surrounding her father's summer manor, riding through
those same fields with Rocinante, even going to grand and official functions; which meant she would have at least a few moments of not being her
mother's primary fixation. The slightest grimace crossed her face remembering the terrible things she had done as the Evil Queen. She had attempted
to make amends but wasn't lost on the fact that no amount of apology would ever be enough. Not everyone was as forgiving as Snow and Charming.
There would always

Regina George High School
I think that the movie is very misleading and it doesn't give an accurate representation of high school. In the second scene of the movie it shows the
school with bustling halls and school yard a school yard filled with fights. I am worried that students who are entering high school believe what they
are watching and become nervous or scared. The movie had many lessons to teach and they were done in a subtle way. The first lessons is regarding
gossip, the high school is filled with gossip and many of the girls suffer from this emotional abuse and bullying. Throughout the movie the main
character Regina George starts multiple rumours and stretches the truth on several occasions. The girls deal with this and stop listening to what
everybody is saying about them. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Learning about the different kinds of bullying and abuse made me quite aware of what was happening in the movie. 'The Plastics' essentially run the
school and they have a 'burn book' which is full of rumours, false statements and accusations of girls in the school. Another rumour that the movie
was based around was self image. The girls had many rules they needed to follow if they were to stay in the plastics group and the majority of them
were self image

The Power Of Adolf Hitler And Regina George
"The Holocaust was engineered by Hitler and his Nazi regime, 6 million Jews or around 78% of the total Jewish population (around 7.3 million) in
Nazi–occupied Europe at that time and an additional 5 million non–Jewish people were killed" (M. F. Saad).
As Regina George's friend, Gretchen, would say, that's totally not fetch. Regina George is the queen of North Shore High School; whileAdolf Hitler
wanted to rule his own piece of land, otherwise known as the world. Both Regina and Adolf are leaders, and they both choose the power of fear. They
both know what they want, and they will do whatever they must in order to obtain it. Adolf Hitler and Regina George are different because Adolf
Hitler created the Holocaust, while Regina George created chaos with gossip and rumors; they are also similar as they both have a dictator mindset,
are secretive, and have a selected group of followers.
Adolf Hitler was very powerful in his time, and he was able to gain that power through a lot of lucky circumstances for him and manipulation. As an
adult male in Germany in the early 1900's, he had more power than any woman had. He was able to rise to power after World War Ileft Germany in
shambles needing a strong leader. Hitler was able to give great, long speeches that inspired the Germans. His ideologies were spread throughout the
country, allowing his Nazi dictatorship empire to rise.
Regina George was able to rise to power simply by being herself and knowing how to work people. She knew that if she was nice to certain people,
she could get what she wanted. Once she received whatever she desired or if they refused to comply, she could completely and utterly destroy them
and their reputation by spreading rumors about them. She is popular and smart, basically the ruling queen of North Shore High School. Everyone
lived under her rule, always trying to keep her happy rather than risk life as they know it. In her own way, she was a dictator herself. She ruled over
everyone, their fear allowing her to keep her throne.
One of the largest secrets about his "kingdom" Hitler was able to keep was the horrible persecution he was committing against the Jews and other
people he classified as gay or disabled. Many people in Germany and

Story Of Regina Falangey's Insane Life
Insane Life
One spring day when she was just a little girl, Regina Falangey started acting very weird. No one knew why. She started becoming very distant from
her family and friends at school. She wouldn't talk to anyone, not even answer questions in class. Her teachers tried to get her to talk, but she didn't
want to. So when she got up into high school, she didn't have very many friends. Not really any friends. She finally graduated high school, and went on
to college. There, she started to become more social and started to gain more friends. She went on to get her PhD in becoming a doctor. After
graduating from college and getting her PhD, she found a job at a hospital. Her personality from not wanting to talk, and not having many friends,
changed. She became a more interesting person. She had a more bubbly personality. A year after she graduated college, her dad, Bob Falangey,
started getting sick and not doing very well. They found out he had cancer. About a year after discovering the cancer, and the doctors not being able
to treat it, and stop it, he died. Everyone was devastated. Regina's mom, Carol Falangey, was so upset. It took her so long to finally live with the fact
that he was gone. She asked her daughter to move in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

bubbly personality. She can be sweet, and she can be sassy. Just depends on how you treat her. The only thing that would make Regina genuinely
happy again, would be to see her dad. She misses him very much, and regrets every minute she didn't spend with him. She hears people tell funny
jokes all the time, and she laughs, but she says it's nothing like the jokes her father

"Why don't you start by telling me what you have?" Regina asked.
Emma took a deep breath, "Okay. Well, I have Ehlers–Danlos, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, or POTS for short, and Chronic Lyme
Disease."
"I've heard of Lyme disease, but I didn't know it could be chronic? And what are the other two?"

Regina chuckled and placed a kiss on the blonde's lips. "Yes, I still want to 'hang out with you and stuff.' So what if we can't run marathons together or
go hiking through the mountains. I'm happy spending time with you no matter what we do."
"Really?" Emma said, shocked.
"Yes, really."
"You're awesome. You know that?"
Regina laughed at what seemed to be the blonde's favorite description of her. "I do believe you said that once before." At that moment, Emma let out a
huge yawn. "You're exhausted aren't you? I can tell you're not feeling well either."
"I'm fine."
Regina raised an eyebrow in response.
"Okay, okay! I feel like crap. I usually take a nap and have a day in bed after skating."
"You can take a nap here. I don't mind."
"I'll be–"
"Fine?" Regina finished for her. She could tell Emma constantly pushed herself too much and was determined to get her to take a nap. "At least lie

Analysis Of The Poem ' Chemo Limo '
Chemo Limo Reading the lyrics to chemo limo did not give the same meaning as to when listening to the song. A sense of emotion came over when
hearing the piano and Regina Spector's voice. Looking at the lyrics while listening to the song gave a better understanding and drew a picture that can
be seen as she is singing. These words could mean so much and listening to the song over and over is a must, to get a better understanding. The
reference to money was interesting by saying Benjamin Franklin in the song, referring to a hundred–dollar bill. Looking more into what that might
mean or what Spector is trying to say is, how money is needed for chemotherapy. She is faced with a difficult decision does she use money on
chemotherapy or does she save that money and invest it into her kids wellbeing? It has to be a tough decision to make because the thought process has
to be nobody wants to die, but the treatment is not always the answer to living also. Talks about insurance policies is also mentioned in the song.
Another option for the women to look at and maybe consider. The doctor says "you'll be ok, anyway" it is mentioned two times in the first section
of the song. This must be the doctor trying to comfort the women and help trying to help her stay positive as he is giving her options on what can be
done. When it is said the second time around the women's reply is "And I smiled cause I'd known it all the while". Right here the women's mind is made

Regina Mills And Communication Styles Essay
Regina Mills and Communication Styles
The character Regina Mills from the show "Once Upon a Time" is an evil queen whom has set out "to have her vengeance to all the inhabitants of
Fairy Tale Land" also known as StoryBrooke. Regina states for StoryBrooke, Maine to be "Somewhere horrible, absolutely horrible, a place where
the only happy ending will be mine". (ABC Network) Regina begins trying to change her ways and put her magic powers aside to have a chance for
her own "happy ending" with her adopted son Henry. However, her mother, Cora has come into town with a different plan in mind in which turns and
Cora is murdered, and Henry has been kidnapped. One of the methods Regina communicates is by using her magic. Regina's communication styles vary
from Dominant communication style, Contentious communication style, and Dramatic communication style to non–verbal communication. Regina
does not communicate very well due to three overwhelming reasons.
First putting evil behind her with the use of magic is difficult since it is all she has used since she was young. As a young woman Regina's betrothed
is murdered by her mother. This begins the whirlwind in which life changes Regina into the Evil Queen. When Regina is not using magic, she uses a
dominant communication style to meet her own needs. For example, even when tied to a post in the town's courtyard she states with tears in her eyes
and power in her voice "above all else with every ounce of my being I regret that I was not

Rudy Giuliani Is The Embodiment Of An American Dream?
Rudy Giuliani is the embodiment of an America Dream. Rudy climbed the political ladder and now lies as president–elected global chair of
cybersecurity (CNN Library). People who are in the public eye and in politics are at times involved in a scandal or multiple scandals. Scandals have
been present since the beginning of time and can very much affect your credibility and your public response to any of your further doings. Rudy Giuliani
did experience a similar scandal to John Proctor from The Crucible and many others have too but, each situation is different and unique to their own.
Growing up in Brooklyn and having a father who owned a tavern could easily affect your views on politics. Giuliani's family came to the United States
of America from Italy and they are a family of working–class and are Catholics. Giuliani's father, Harold Angel Giuliani, was a member of an organized
crime group. Giuliani (father), would later be convicted of assault and robbery. This would later foreshadow on this position and responsibility on
crime once he became mayor of New York in 1941– 2001. Before any of his political career, Giuliani attended Catholic High School. Religion was
very important to Giuliani as was to Proctor, as he stated in The Crucible, "God sees my name; God knows how black my sins are" (Miller 142). In
the beginning Giuliani wanted to be a priest but in time his fond for law grew. He would later attend New York City University of Law and pursue his

because with this experiment you can see the level of humanity in people. She let people decide whether to do something for her when she was
freezing to death, or to continue and leave her there. Another interesting work was the one called "Bitch" (Perra). In this work, she wrote the word

them were found disfigured with words like "bitch" carved into their bodies (Micchelli,

Regina George In Cady Heron
Regina George Character Analysis Perfection is unreachable yet people shed blood and tears to seek for. According to Judith Butler, "the prescription is
not utopian, but consists in an imperative to acknowledge the existing complexity... that bring that complexity into a dramatic cultural interplay without
punitive consequences" (Butler, "Performative Acts and Gender Constitute"). In essence, people create unnecessary complexation by trying to reach
something that is not possible. With an impossible complexity to overcome–perfection– constantly looming over her, Regina George cannot find
satisfaction with her identity. To cope with such reality, Regina insults others and create a social division Regina George shows an interest in Cady

The students, and even some of the teachers at her school hated her, but at the same time respected her, not only because of her 'appealing
appearance', but also because she knows all the secrets about them which are written on "the Burn Book". Regina's social standing at the apex of
popularity disables any type of force to rebel against her. However, because of her powerful position in the social ladder, she needs to maintain her
presence, or else the school's loyalty and attention to her will disappear. As Judith Butler mentioned, "Conception of social performance is applied,
it is clear that although there are individual bodies that enact these significations by becoming stylized into modes, this 'action' is immediately public
as well" (Butler, "Performative Acts and Gender Constitute"). Her identity, attire, attitude and action play major parts in the school society. For
example, when Janice Ian cropped parts of Regina's dress, girls, and even some guys in the school saw her rippled dress as a new trend, and began
to imitate her fashion by wearing cropped dresses to school. Furthermore, Regina insults her peers because she has to make sure to that she is superior
to them. However, everything changes once Regina starts to gain more weight. Her appearance is distorted and her loyalty

Analysis Of Night By Regina Kandt
The Holocaust was a mass genocide which killed six million European Jews by Hitler's Nazi's that lasted for 12 years. This mass killing event left a
mark in history, this was an act against humanity. The book "Night" was a written perspective from Elie Wiesel, who was kept in one of the most
dangerous camps with his family in Auschwitz, during the Holocaust. A letter was written by Regina Kandt to her lover while she was transitioning to
a camp, and a photograph was taken during the Holocaust of the aftermath of the mass killing genocide. All of these sources connect to the loss of
religious faith because everyone had a loss of hope the victims depending on their value of family and their relationships to survive.

Where is God? Why did this happen? The aftermath of this event left a recurring question asking why do we believe in what we do. And isreligion
worth it? When you look at the people lying on the ground you might think of their background, who were they, did they have a home, or a family?
During this time families and relationships got closer together, it was much more valued and important. Many people never saw their parents or their

Character In Courtney Summer's 'Some Girls Are'
"Character is not created in isolation or repose; it's forged through interaction with others and the world" (David Corbett). Courtney Summer's novel
Some Girls Are, graphically portrays the adversity of high school and maturation. At a time when children become more independent and enter into
early adulthood, they strive to maintain the comfort and confidence that has secured them until this point. The protagonist Regina Afton, attends school
popular and secure, but after a harsh rumour circulates about her and her bestfriend's boyfriend, she finds herself on the bottom of the school's social
ladder. What ends up being undeniably brutal, also ends up being the most significant event for Regina in terms of a lesson in reality. Throughout the
novel it is clearly shown that interactions with other people can have a big influence on someone's identity. When Regina spends time with Anna, she
is influenced and tends to act very cruel around others, Anna has an impact on Regina's choices. These choices affect how Regina treats Kara, Kara
becomes very sensitive and makes decision she would not have if she was not influenced by Regina. After all the drama has occurred, Regina spends
time with Michael. Their interactions inform Regina of what a bad person she can be, this causes her to try and fix her mistakes, even though it is too
late. Thus, it is the negative interactions that people have with one another that become the most beneficial, as they force the individual to recognize

Katherine Mary Knight has committed a murder which falls into the most serious category of murder and it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that
the murder was premeditated. She used a sharp butcher knife to murder and stabbed him at least 37 times as well as perfectly skinning his whole
body. Sometime before she murdered him she made numerous threats to him about his death. After she had murdered him, she stated that she had no
recollection of the murder what so ever to the police. She tried to escape her position of crime by trying to blame everything on her mental personality
disorder. She not only planned the murder but actually enjoyed the horrific acts which led to death and defilement. After the death of Mr. Price, she
indicated cognition, volition, calm and skill and showed no remorse or guilt at all. There were four matters

Regina Riot
REGINA – Yesterday, at about 8pm, riot broke out between the trekkers of On To Ottawa and Royal Canadian Mountain Polices in the Regina's Market
Square.
Strikers headed to Ottawa were the main reason for the Regina Riot. Their strike turned into a violent riot when RCMPs involved.
At the trekkers and citizen support group meeting, three large trucks came in and concealed the RCMPs. Then with a sound of whistle, polices started
to charge the crowd with batons. In surprise, people fought back with stones, sticks, and anything on the ground against the police. The RCMPs
responded on horseback, charging crowds with clubs.
The battle lasted for 4 hours in streets of Downtown Regina, sabotaging about thousand dollars of properties of local stores.

Friends are Forever
Friends are people that is important to all of human kind, they shares memories each other. Start from the first day we meet with friends, we write

Regina George Quotes
In society most people want to be seen as: intelligent, wealthy, or beautiful, but why do we as a community want to have the advantage in life rather
than seeing everyone as equal. No matter what book you open fiction or not there is always a protagonist and an antagonist, someone in control or
someone not. A quote from Vernon Davis, "Be a leader not a follower..." stood out to me because without followers, leaders have no support; and
without support it is harder to thrive. In every country, novel, or club there needs to be structure and an authority figure to succeed in any way they
can. When I think of a country and authority, Adolf Hitler comes to mind as he was one of the most power hungry people in mankind's history. As he

The ridiculous rules that her "groupies" follow, to the fashion trends she sets accidently. It shows that in high school girls will do mostly anything
to "fit in" or be apart of that popular group, in this film, the plastics. Unlike Hitler, Regina was very fortunate growing up so that only leads viewers
to believe everyone wanted to be like her. Like Hitler, she used manipulative behavior to gain followers; for example, a scene shows Regina and a
following classmate conversing in the hallway about her skirt, after the classmate walks away Regina states that she thought it was actually ugly. I
believe Regina acts the way she does, because early on in the movie, Gretchen states that "...her parents totally don't sleep in the same bed if that's
what you mean." although her life looks picture perfect, there are still issues with her home life. Once in control whether it is a school or club, the
person is most likely to stay in charge, unless something drastic happens to the one in control, or a rise in people against their beliefs pushing for a
change. Although Hitler was in need to control the entire country, Regina only controlled a small group but with the same

Informative Essay: The Regina Road
Regina Roads I'm very passionate about this topic because on my way home everyday the roads are very bad. Last year balfours parking lot was so
bad that I couldn't even drive 10 kilometres/hour without my car bouncing, it ruined my cars suspension and I had to pay thirteen hundred dollars to
get it fixed. There have been times when there would would be a huge pothole and they don't put a pylon on or near it, next thing you know you
bottom out your car. They are wasting all their money on the new stadium, their budget is no good. Regina roads have been super bad for so long. If I
were in charge I wouldn't spend millions on a new stadium, I would put the money to useful things around the city. The old stadium isn't that old,

Regina George In Mean Girls
Regina George is a character in the comedy movie, "Mean Girls". She is the most unpredictable, selfish, sarcastic, manipulative, lying villain, oh and
not to mention the most stylish one too! That being some of the reasons why she is one of the best/worst villains. All the girls either hated her or
wanted to be her and, the boys well, they loved her! In the movie this character is the leader of a group called, " The plastics", in the high school of,
North Shore. The group of the "plastics" was known as teen royalty. This group was made of Regina George and her two side kicks.
Regina's side kicks names were Karen Smith, and Gretchen Wieners. Karen smith is described as, "The dumbest girl you'll ever meet" nothing more,
nothing less. Then there was Gretchen, she was rich and popular because her father was the "inventor of toaster strudel." Not only that, but she knew
everything about everyone in the school, they said that why her hair looked so big because it,"was full of secrets." Regina treated them absolutely
terrible and, she considered them her friends, that being said you can only imagine how she treats everyone else. They were both heavily influenced by
Regina, and they did about anything she told them to do!

The University of Regina takes pride in supporting and taking a leadership role in initiatives that will benefit the environment. For instance, the U of R

Regina had reached her sixteenth week of pregnancy and this was the morning of her second ultrasound. She should have been over the moon with
excitement, but for the third morning in a row, she had woken up in a frenzy because of a disturbing dream. Regina was having recurring nightmares
about her deceased sister, Zelena, coming back from the dead to steal her daughters. In the dream, Zelena would snatch the baby girls out of Regina's
arms and disappear in cloud of green smoke!
"What's wrong, my love"? Rumple asked concerned for a visibly shaken Regina
"Zelena"! Regina sobbed
"What about that witch"? Rumple inquired, "She's dead and gone" He assured Regina

Once Regina was ready, Dr. Whale came in and examined her. She was doing great and having a normal, healthy pregnancy so far.
"OK guys, now for the fun part. Are you ready to see your babies again"? Dr. Whale asked cheerfully
"I can't wait" Regina smiled
Dr. Whale exposed Regina's stomach and covered it in cold, blue gel. He slowly began moving the ultrasound wand in circles around Regina's
midsection while her and Rumple looked on with gleeful eyes. At first, it appeared one baby was hiding behind the other, but after a little movement
of the wand, they both came into view. They were perfect! Each little miracle had a strong beating heart, ten little fingers and ten little toes. Rumple
and Regina stared intently on the screen as Dr. Whale gave them a guided tour of their babies. They fought back tears as they squeezed each other's
hands.
"They are absolutely perfect guys," Dr. Whale reported to the two teary eyed parents, "We couldn't ask for better," He continued "Would you like to
know the genders"? He asked
"YES"! Rumple and Regina shouted in unison
"I hope you like pink, because you've got two little girls on the way" Dr. Whale announced, confirming Rumple's vision
"I'm so happy" Regina cried
"My daughters" Rumple said softly with a huge smile on his face
"You're positive that they're both healthy"? Regina asked with a hint of motherly worry
"I assure you Regina, your daughters are as perfect as they come" Dr. Whale confirmed

The Case Of Regina V. Kennedy
It is widely accepted that the social interest is stimulated by criminal law. Crime as a public wrong, it affects the society by making them feel less
secure. Judgments can be easily misinterpreted with a lack of minor details, which distort the whole view. Particularly, in Kennedy's case, the
conviction of two counts of offences, supplying a class–A drug and a manslaughter, was controversial. This study will first explore, the facts of the case
which are essential to identify the law. Moreover, it will investigate the law and analyse the solutions provided by the courts. Furthermore, it will
examine the inadequacy of the courts. Finally, it will outline the possible reforms that they should set out in order to clarify inaccuracies in law. This
study will substantiate the view that, the final judgment was largely interpretable, although improvements can be calculated, with the benefit of the
society as a prime target. In the case of Regina v. Kennedy (No2)1, the evidence suggests that the incident was made on 10 September 1996. The case
was tried in the House of Lords on 17 October 2007. Under the surveillance of five judges, who headed by Lord Bingham of Cornhill, they had the
obligation to investigate and solve the case involving the administration of drug and manslaughter. In depth, the protagonists were living in a hostel for
homeless people in London. Marco Bosque, victim, shared a room with Andrew Cody. Simon Kennedy, defendant, also lived in the hostel. Both victim

Regina Mills In The Enchanted Forest
In every story you see, hear, or read, you will always find one that becomes your favorite character. That one that you just love everything about
them and want to be just like them. For me, it is a character named Regina Mills from Once Upon A Time on ABC. Regina Mills is the Evil
Queen, she is portrayed by the actress Lana Parrilla. In the show, she cursed everyone in the enchanted forest to live in the real world with no
memory of who they are, ripping away their happy endings. Now, she doesn't sound like the best role model, but she has great qualities that are
shown throughout the series. Regina has a slim, toned body. She is 5'5 but always wears heels making her much taller. She has big milky brown eyes
and dark brown hair. In the Enchanted Forest she has very extravagant clothing, but in the town of Storybrooke, Maine, where they are cursed to live,
she wears more refined clothing and business... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

But she used that pain and became queen with one of the most powerful empire in the enchanted forest. Life is full of pain and resilience is
necessary, bad things happen but you can't give up, you have to keep fighting and Regina Mills does just that. She has an extreme capacity for
love and all she really wants is happiness. She loved her mother, even after all she's done to her and done to take advantage of her. She also loves
her son Henry who she would do anything to protect. She is very powerful and confident. She will always state her opinion and speeches up for
herself, she doesn't care about what people say about her, she always defends herself and has a confidence that I would love to have to never be afraid

Regina McArthur was born on December 16, 1929. She is a proud mother of five children, and is also a proud grandmother. She says that her
greatest love, after her family, is teaching. Regina is a retired school teacher and she currently works informally at a local museum. She says that
religion plays a big part in her life, and she describes herself as a real church goer. She is continually trying to develop new skills with all the
wonderful things that are out there to learn. Regina is a very curious person and believes that everyone should be too! She said, "There is so much in
life that is free, we should take advantage of it."

She says that she feels accomplished in her life. Her parents influenced her to go to school and she is very grateful for her education today.
Growing up in the Depression made her afraid of financial loss. Regina is particularly proud of her children. When asked if there was anything that
she would change about her life, she said, "My mother spoke three different languages and I regret that I didn't learn more of them. Also I would have
traveled more."
Regina believes that there does not have to be a relationship between love and happiness. Happiness can exist with out love. Love stays with you
forever, happiness doesn't.
Regina has experienced her share of personal loss, but she coped with it by just moving on with her life, just pushing through it. She said, "Today I see
other races and religions with an open mind. This has made me a stronger person and much more aware. It really taught me how to deal with people
more effectively."
Regina considers herself a decent human being. She thinks that it is important to think of yourself as a good person. It makes her unhappy when her
children are upset. "When my children are in a crisis I always grieve for them, and we help each other, she said."
Regina's advice for achieving happiness is attuned to her philosophy on life: "stay very curious about life and new inventions, investigate new things,
and learn as much as you can." She

Regina Schwartz On Religion Summary
I really clicked with the last speaker, Reverend Jae Quinlan. I am not sure if it is because we are soul sisters from a past life, or because we share the
same name, but I adored her persona. Upon reflection, I wasn't too sure what the overall message of her speech was. I really enjoyed her different
perspective on religion, and engaging with a feminist pastor was refreshingly different. In the essay entitled "Religion" in Critical Terms for the Study
of Gender, Regina Schwartz discusses the evolution of religious belief, highlighting that "the wide range of meanings of religion has tended to be more
productive than confusing for religions, affording opportunities for change within cultural formations that would otherwise be stable and conservative",
making these rigid belief systems ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This change is revolutionary, as religion has been stagnant in its beliefs for hundreds of thousands of years, thus even this slight shift in inclusivity is
monumental. Later in the "Religion" essay, Schwartz highlights that religion has been in charge of "silencing women, controlling their sexuality,
removing them from the public sphere, denying them equal rights of participation, denying them leadership roles in the church, and at the most
extreme, even denying them access to the blessings coffered by divinity", and this control applies to all minorities and peoples who are not white
heterosexual males (CTSG 428). Jae proves that religion can be both fluid and inclusive, as her congregation has developed such a large following. I
think many nonreligious people as well as many millennials want to be more in touch with a higher power, but are turned off by the rigidity and
heavily structured boundaries that a believer must abide

Islation in So Far From God, Beloved, and The Guardians
In the novels So Far from God and Guardians by Ana Castillo and Beloved and by Toni Morrison we see how isolation can create a need for
community and support from others. Isolation as demonstrated in these texts is something that is not dealt with properly. Getting through a tough
situation may be hard, but it does not have to be a solo act. It can be said; a person who feel they need to 'isolate' themselves from their community are
only going to make their situation worse, and if support from the community is not accepted isolation becomes more of a threat than a danger to the
person who is not accepting the help. It can be debated, that La Loca in So Far From God, Sethe in Beloved, and Regina in the Guardians have all
demonstrated how isolation can be dangerous for a person should not be taken lightly, and community support should be taken advantage of if
offered. Any kind of support given to help a person through a tough time is better than dealing with it alone. In So far from God isolation becomes
a presence in La Loca's life from the day she was born. La Loca's isolation is different in a way that she did not allow any type of human contact what
so ever. As a child she had a phobia of germs which kept her at home and unable to live a normal life. Because of this, La Loca ultimately chooses to
isolate herself as a way to be kept away from people because she thinks they smell and can not stand to be around them.
As La Loca states: " The occasions when La Loca

Regina Spektor's Two Birds: An Analysis
Throughout my project, birds are a symbol of my personal progress as an artist and a writer, and the hope and faith I needed in order to start
practicing. I thought that birds would be the most accurate way to convey this due to their general connotation of hope and freedom in literature, as it
makes my message easier for the viewer to understand and relate to. In comparison, despite the positive connotations we have of birds, they often
find themselves restricted by cages in a way that is similar to how humans restrict themselves by listening to their fears and doubts. I hope that
drawing my own progress and experience into my project will help to encourage others to escape from their own cages and take their first step towards
learning something new, no matter how scary it may seem.
I started my project with Dickinson's poem in order to relate the connotation that many have of birds to my topic. This poem portrays the resilience of
hope and its effect on the people through the form of a little bird, one that asks nothing in return for its light. In my presentation I addressed how this
fact is true for everyone, as their hopes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The other bird, however, lets his fears cripple his hope, as he makes excuses so that he won't have to try and be brave. These two birds demonstrate
the two paths many people seem to take: they either practice in order to improve or they make excuses and avoid trying at all due to their fear of
inherent failure. Through my hardwork and dedication, I've found myself on the first path as I practice to improve my skills diligently. With this,
however, I often meet many people who sigh over how they wish they could do art, as well. When I tell them they can, they just have to practice, they
make excuses before even considering my

Games. My team boat partner, Alyssa, is one of my best friends. In this picture, Alyssa and I are in a safety boat after tipping in a two person

In the picture I chose, I am doing one of my passions, kayaking. I have been involved in kayaking for 5 years. It is a large aspect of my life as I

Regina And Julius Caesar Similarities

  • 1. Regina And Julius Caesar Similarities In the play Julius Caesar, Caesar says, ":But I am as constant as the northern star, of whose true fix'd and resting quality." This is a perfect example that people no matter how popular you are, there is always someone who is going to try to take it away from you. Another problem with this quote is that you should be nice to people or something bad will happen to you. Life by the rule treat others how you want to be treated. Julius Caesar is similar and different to regina of mean girls in many ways. The first way that the two are similar is that both the characters are high in society, Julius Caesar is a loved government official that all the people of the city love. He is the head of everything, every single person in Rome hangs on every ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Summary Of Nighttime Fires By Regina Barecca "Nighttime Fires" by Regina Barecca Regina Barecca's poem "Nighttime Fires" explains a complex view of the narrator's father. This poem recalls a part of the unnamed narrator's life that she is still trying to understand it in her adulthood. This poem illustrates the long lasting impression that was made on a little girl, whose father seeks satisfaction by watching the destruction that is caused by the nighttime fires. The poem creates imagery in the audience's mind of a father's character, as his grown daughter still remembers the events that took place when she was five years old. This poem is about a father, who is a victim of the economic downfall that leads him to be without a job; yet, his actions and behaviors are very unusual and unforgivable. The disappointment with the society that has made him unsuccessful in Regina Barreca's "Nighttime Fire" tells us the thoughts that the speaker has towards her father.... The father would find a fire to observe, and would have the mother to wake all seven children up in their pajamas. It didn't matter if they were sick, the father would still put them in the car and drive towards the fire. The speaker says that her father smiles from a "secret, brittle heart," when he sees all the destruction of a rich person's house. The speaker says, "His face lit up in the heat given off by destruction/ like something was being made, or was being set right" (19–20). Instead of watching the scene, the mother watches him because she is afraid of him and his strange behavior that is taking over his life. His anger issue makes the whole family suffer for the problems that only he could fix ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I chose it because I was intrigued about its history. Regina was a pile of bones before because of the first nations who came to hunt buffalo for food, shelter and etc and what all left are bones. The first settler did was, they pile all the bones and years went by Regina stood by its own, despite of what its name before, ``The Pile of Bones ``(regina.ca), and now Regina is one of the sunniest city and called the land of the living skies. The city on summer looks so green and sunny and warm and has a lot of recreational specially for families. Despite of warm and sunny summer, in winter, it faces mostly severe winter storms. ... • 4. Regina Mills: Forgiving As Snow And Charming Regina Mills stood on the balcony overlooking the newly United Realms. She took the quiet moment to reflect on the events of her life leading to this point. She reminisced of the few good times as a child. Quiet moments playing in the fields surrounding her father's summer manor, riding through those same fields with Rocinante, even going to grand and official functions; which meant she would have at least a few moments of not being her mother's primary fixation. The slightest grimace crossed her face remembering the terrible things she had done as the Evil Queen. She had attempted to make amends but wasn't lost on the fact that no amount of apology would ever be enough. Not everyone was as forgiving as Snow and Charming. There would always ... • 5. Regina George High School I think that the movie is very misleading and it doesn't give an accurate representation of high school. In the second scene of the movie it shows the school with bustling halls and school yard a school yard filled with fights. I am worried that students who are entering high school believe what they are watching and become nervous or scared. The movie had many lessons to teach and they were done in a subtle way. The first lessons is regarding gossip, the high school is filled with gossip and many of the girls suffer from this emotional abuse and bullying. Throughout the movie the main character Regina George starts multiple rumours and stretches the truth on several occasions. The girls deal with this and stop listening to what everybody is saying about them. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 6. The Power Of Adolf Hitler And Regina George "The Holocaust was engineered by Hitler and his Nazi regime, 6 million Jews or around 78% of the total Jewish population (around 7.3 million) in Nazi–occupied Europe at that time and an additional 5 million non–Jewish people were killed" (M. F. Saad). As Regina George's friend, Gretchen, would say, that's totally not fetch. Regina George is the queen of North Shore High School; whileAdolf Hitler wanted to rule his own piece of land, otherwise known as the world. Both Regina and Adolf are leaders, and they both choose the power of fear. They both know what they want, and they will do whatever they must in order to obtain it. Adolf Hitler and Regina George are different because Adolf Hitler created the Holocaust, while Regina George created chaos with gossip and rumors; they are also similar as they both have a dictator mindset, are secretive, and have a selected group of followers. Adolf Hitler was very powerful in his time, and he was able to gain that power through a lot of lucky circumstances for him and manipulation. As an adult male in Germany in the early 1900's, he had more power than any woman had. He was able to rise to power after World War Ileft Germany in shambles needing a strong leader. Hitler was able to give great, long speeches that inspired the Germans. His ideologies were spread throughout the country, allowing his Nazi dictatorship empire to rise. Regina George was able to rise to power simply by being herself and knowing how to work people. She knew that if she was nice to certain people, she could get what she wanted. Once she received whatever she desired or if they refused to comply, she could completely and utterly destroy them and their reputation by spreading rumors about them. She is popular and smart, basically the ruling queen of North Shore High School. Everyone lived under her rule, always trying to keep her happy rather than risk life as they know it. In her own way, she was a dictator herself. She ruled over everyone, their fear allowing her to keep her throne. One of the largest secrets about his "kingdom" Hitler was able to keep was the horrible persecution he was committing against the Jews and other people he classified as gay or disabled. • 7. Story Of Regina Falangey's Insane Life Insane Life One spring day when she was just a little girl, Regina Falangey started acting very weird. No one knew why. She started becoming very distant from her family and friends at school. She wouldn't talk to anyone, not even answer questions in class. Her teachers tried to get her to talk, but she didn't want to. So when she got up into high school, she didn't have very many friends. Not really any friends. She finally graduated high school, and went on to college. There, she started to become more social and started to gain more friends. She went on to get her PhD in becoming a doctor. After graduating from college and getting her PhD, she found a job at a hospital. Her personality from not wanting to talk, and not having many friends, changed. She became a more interesting person. She had a more bubbly personality. A year after she graduated college, her dad, Bob Falangey, started getting sick and not doing very well. They found out he had cancer. About a year after discovering the cancer, and the doctors not being able to treat it, and stop it, he died. Everyone was devastated. Regina's mom, Carol Falangey, was so upset. • 12. Analysis Of The Poem ' Chemo Limo ' Chemo Limo Reading the lyrics to chemo limo did not give the same meaning as to when listening to the song. A sense of emotion came over when hearing the piano and Regina Spector's voice. Looking at the lyrics while listening to the song gave a better understanding and drew a picture that can be seen as she is singing. These words could mean so much and listening to the song over and over is a must, to get a better understanding. The reference to money was interesting by saying Benjamin Franklin in the song, referring to a hundred–dollar bill. Looking more into what that might mean or what Spector is trying to say is, how money is needed for chemotherapy. She is faced with a difficult decision does she use money on chemotherapy or does she save that money and invest it into her kids wellbeing? It has to be a tough decision to make because the thought process has to be nobody wants to die, but the treatment is not always the answer to living also. Talks about insurance policies is also mentioned in the song. Another option for the women to look at and maybe consider. The doctor says "you'll be ok, anyway" it is mentioned two times in the first section of the song. This must be the doctor trying to comfort the women and help trying to help her stay positive as he is giving her options on what can be done. • 14. Regina Mills And Communication Styles Essay Regina Mills and Communication Styles The character Regina Mills from the show "Once Upon a Time" is an evil queen whom has set out "to have her vengeance to all the inhabitants of Fairy Tale Land" also known as StoryBrooke. Regina states for StoryBrooke, Maine to be "Somewhere horrible, absolutely horrible, a place where the only happy ending will be mine". (ABC Network) Regina begins trying to change her ways and put her magic powers aside to have a chance for her own "happy ending" with her adopted son Henry. However, her mother, Cora has come into town with a different plan in mind in which turns and Cora is murdered, and Henry has been kidnapped. One of the methods Regina communicates is by using her magic. Regina's communication styles vary from Dominant communication style, Contentious communication style, and Dramatic communication style to non–verbal communication. Regina does not communicate very well due to three overwhelming reasons. First putting evil behind her with the use of magic is difficult since it is all she has used since she was young. As a young woman Regina's betrothed is murdered by her mother. This begins the whirlwind in which life changes Regina into the Evil Queen. When Regina is not using magic, she uses a dominant communication style to meet her own needs. For example, even when tied to a post in the town's courtyard she states with tears in her eyes and power in her voice "above all else with every ounce of my being I regret that I was not ... • 15. Rudy Giuliani Is The Embodiment Of An American Dream? Rudy Giuliani is the embodiment of an America Dream. Rudy climbed the political ladder and now lies as president–elected global chair of cybersecurity (CNN Library). People who are in the public eye and in politics are at times involved in a scandal or multiple scandals. Scandals have been present since the beginning of time and can very much affect your credibility and your public response to any of your further doings. Rudy Giuliani did experience a similar scandal to John Proctor from The Crucible and many others have too but, each situation is different and unique to their own. Growing up in Brooklyn and having a father who owned a tavern could easily affect your views on politics. Giuliani's family came to the United States of America from Italy and they are a family of working–class and are Catholics. Giuliani's father, Harold Angel Giuliani, was a member of an organized crime group. Giuliani (father), would later be convicted of assault and robbery. This would later foreshadow on this position and responsibility on crime once he became mayor of New York in 1941– 2001. Before any of his political career, Giuliani attended Catholic High School. Religion was very important to Giuliani as was to Proctor, as he stated in The Crucible, "God sees my name; God knows how black my sins are" (Miller 142). Her works are based on violence or any cruelty caused by certain political events and personal disgrace. Those works are open to the public and to whoever relates to what is being depicted in the art work. (Regina Jose Galindo Portfolio, 2014). Galindo won the Golden Lion award in 2005 as the best artist under 35 at the 51st. Venice Biennale. Two years later, she sold this award to a Spanish artist,Santiago Sierra, who in return sold back to a collector. Ironically, in 2011 she decided to order an exact copy of the award to her friends, Angel and Fernando PoyГ іn who were sculptors in Guatemala. Her friends gave her the exact copy, but this time the Golden Lion was casted in bronze coated in Guatemalan gold. • 17. Regina George In Cady Heron Regina George Character Analysis Perfection is unreachable yet people shed blood and tears to seek for. According to Judith Butler, "the prescription is not utopian, but consists in an imperative to acknowledge the existing complexity... that bring that complexity into a dramatic cultural interplay without punitive consequences" (Butler, "Performative Acts and Gender Constitute"). In essence, people create unnecessary complexation by trying to reach something that is not possible. With an impossible complexity to overcome–perfection– constantly looming over her, Regina George cannot find satisfaction with her identity. To cope with such reality, Regina insults others and create a social division Regina George shows an interest in Cady Heron,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The students, and even some of the teachers at her school hated her, but at the same time respected her, not only because of her 'appealing appearance', but also because she knows all the secrets about them which are written on "the Burn Book". Regina's social standing at the apex of popularity disables any type of force to rebel against her. However, because of her powerful position in the social ladder, she needs to maintain her presence, or else the school's loyalty and attention to her will disappear. A letter was written by Regina Kandt to her lover while she was transitioning to a camp, and a photograph was taken during the Holocaust of the aftermath of the mass killing genocide. Courtney Summer's novel Some Girls Are, graphically portrays the adversity of high school and maturation. At a time when children become more independent and enter into early adulthood, they strive to maintain the comfort and confidence that has secured them until this point. The protagonist Regina Afton, attends school popular and secure, but after a harsh rumour circulates about her and her bestfriend's boyfriend, she finds herself on the bottom of the school's social ladder. What ends up being undeniably brutal, also ends up being the most significant event for Regina in terms of a lesson in reality. When Regina spends time with Anna, she is influenced and tends to act very cruel around others, Anna has an impact on Regina's choices. These choices affect how Regina treats Kara, Kara becomes very sensitive and makes decision she would not have if she was not influenced by Regina. After all the drama has occurred, Regina spends time with Michael. Regina George Quotes In society most people want to be seen as: intelligent, wealthy, or beautiful, but why do we as a community want to have the advantage in life rather than seeing everyone as equal. No matter what book you open fiction or not there is always a protagonist and an antagonist, someone in control or someone not. A quote from Vernon Davis, "Be a leader not a follower..." stood out to me because without followers, leaders have no support; and without support it is harder to thrive. In every country, novel, or club there needs to be structure and an authority figure to succeed in any way they can. Like Hitler, she used manipulative behavior to gain followers; for example, a scene shows Regina and a following classmate conversing in the hallway about her skirt, after the classmate walks away Regina states that she thought it was actually ugly. I believe Regina acts the way she does, because early on in the movie, Gretchen states that "...her parents totally don't sleep in the same bed if that's what you mean." although her life looks picture perfect, there are still issues with her home life. Once in control whether it is a school or club, the person is most likely to stay in charge, unless something drastic happens to the one in control, or a rise in people against their beliefs pushing for a change. Judgments can be easily misinterpreted with a lack of minor details, which distort the whole view. Particularly, in Kennedy's case, the conviction of two counts of offences, supplying a class–A drug and a manslaughter, was controversial. This study will first explore, the facts of the case which are essential to identify the law. Moreover, it will investigate the law and analyse the solutions provided by the courts. Furthermore, it will examine the inadequacy of the courts. Finally, it will outline the possible reforms that they should set out in order to clarify inaccuracies in law. This study will substantiate the view that, the final judgment was largely interpretable, although improvements can be calculated, with the benefit of the society as a prime target. In the case of Regina v. Kennedy (No2)1, the evidence suggests that the incident was made on 10 September 1996. The case was tried in the House of Lords on 17 October 2007. I am not sure if it is because we are soul sisters from a past life, or because we share the same name, but I adored her persona. Upon reflection, I wasn't too sure what the overall message of her speech was. I really enjoyed her different perspective on religion, and engaging with a feminist pastor was refreshingly different. In the essay entitled "Religion" in Critical Terms for the Study of Gender, Regina Schwartz discusses the evolution of religious belief, highlighting that "the wide range of meanings of religion has tended to be more productive than confusing for religions, affording opportunities for change within cultural formations that would otherwise be stable and conservative", making these rigid belief systems ... • 40. Islation in So Far From God, Beloved, and The Guardians In the novels So Far from God and Guardians by Ana Castillo and Beloved and by Toni Morrison we see how isolation can create a need for community and support from others. Isolation as demonstrated in these texts is something that is not dealt with properly. Getting through a tough situation may be hard, but it does not have to be a solo act. It can be said; a person who feel they need to 'isolate' themselves from their community are only going to make their situation worse, and if support from the community is not accepted isolation becomes more of a threat than a danger to the person who is not accepting the help. It can be debated, that La Loca in So Far From God, Sethe in Beloved, and Regina in the Guardians have all demonstrated how isolation can be dangerous for a person should not be taken lightly, and community support should be taken advantage of if offered. Any kind of support given to help a person through a tough time is better than dealing with it alone. In So far from God isolation becomes a presence in La Loca's life from the day she was born. La Loca's isolation is different in a way that she did not allow any type of human contact what so ever. As a child she had a phobia of germs which kept her at home and unable to live a normal life. Because of this, La Loca ultimately chooses to isolate herself as a way to be kept away from people because she thinks they smell and can not stand to be around them. Regina Spektor's Two Birds: An Analysis Throughout my project, birds are a symbol of my personal progress as an artist and a writer, and the hope and faith I needed in order to start practicing. I thought that birds would be the most accurate way to convey this due to their general connotation of hope and freedom in literature, as it makes my message easier for the viewer to understand and relate to. In comparison, despite the positive connotations we have of birds, they often find themselves restricted by cages in a way that is similar to how humans restrict themselves by listening to their fears and doubts. I hope that drawing my own progress and experience into my project will help to encourage others to escape from their own cages and take their first step towards learning something new, no matter how scary it may seem. I started my project with Dickinson's poem in order to relate the connotation that many have of birds to my topic.
