design and execution of mechanical works.

3.  Final checking and modification of mechanical designs like head loss calculations, thickness
calculations, HGL calculations, etc. received from consultants for pipeline of various sizes
and materials which included transmission and distribution pipelines before submission to
client.
 Single point of contact for packages and responsible for communication with Consultants,
construction team and Client.
 Providing technical clarifications and finalizing vendors for respective packages.
 Developing specifications in line with Project requirements.
 Assessment of Methodology for cathodic protection and protective coating for MS pipeline
 Assessment of methodologies for laying of pipeline for underground, above ground, canal
crossings, NH crossings, major and minor road crossings etc.
 Reviewing QAPs and pipeline manufacturing specifications.
 Co-ordination with all the departments in the Project i.e. Planning, Electrical, I&C and Civil
teams.
 Coordinating and compiling Engineering specifications and drawings for submission and
approval from Client.
 Liaising with client & suppliers for submission, approval & clarifying queries related to
various documents i.e. datasheets, calculations, reports, schedules etc.
 Resolving/Support to clear Execution issues (Technical, Commercial, Documentation, and
Logistics).

● Coordinating and ensuring the timely completion of manufacture of MS Pipe as
per the approved schedule.
● Supervising the execution of 1100 mm diameter MS pipes at site and ensuring
adherence to the approved procedures and schedule.
● Coordinating with the Third Party Inspectors for Pipeline and Cathodic Protection
Works and reporting.
● Monitoring progress of the pipeline works in the project and timely identification
of hurdles, if any.
● Coordination & follow-up for procurement of materials / services.
